# How to View Git Deployments for Your Site in xCloud

> Use the Deployments page in xCloud to see what is live on a Git site, check each deploy's commit, branch and author, and find failed deployments fast.

Every site that deploys from a Git repository in **[xCloud](/)** has a **Deployments** page. It shows what is live right now and lists every deployment with its commit message, commit hash, branch, who started it and how long it took. You can filter the list to find failed deployments in one click.

> **Note:** The Deployments page appears only on sites that deploy from Git. To connect a repository to an existing site, see [How to Set Up Git Integration for an Existing WordPress or Custom PHP Site](/docs/set-up-git-integration-for-existing-wordpress-or-php-site/).

## Step 1: Open Deployments

Open your site and click **Deployments** in the site menu, right under **Site Overview**. You can also reach it from **Git** settings with the **View deployments** link.

## Step 2: Check the current deployment

The **Current Deployment** card at the top shows your newest deployment: the commit message, the short commit hash, the branch, who started it, when it ran and how long it took. The badge on the right shows the result:

| Badge | What it means |
| --- | --- |
| **Deployed** | The new code is live. |
| **No changes** | The deployment ran, but the branch had no new commits. |
| **Failed** | The deployment did not finish. The code that was live before is still serving your site. |

When the newest deployment failed, the card also names the last successful commit, so you can see what is actually serving traffic. While a deployment is running, the card says so and the page updates itself when it finishes. Click **Refresh** to reload the list at any time.

## Step 3: Read the deployment history

The **History** list shows every deployment from the last 30 days, newest first. Each row shows the commit message, the short hash, the branch and either the person who started it or **Push to deploy** when a push to your repository triggered it. Click a row to open its full deployment log.

Use the filter on the right to show **All**, **Successful**, **Failed** or **Running** deployments. The count next to **History** shows how many deployments match the filter.

If you have more deployments than fit on the page, click **Load more** at the bottom of the list.

> **Tip:** To deploy again, use **Deploy Now** at the top of the site page. If a deployment failed, open its log first: [Troubleshooting Git Deployments](/docs/troubleshooting-git-deployments-stuck-failed-or-not-triggering/) explains the common causes.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why is the Deployments page missing from my site's menu?

The page appears only on sites that deploy from a Git repository. If your site was not created from Git, set up Git integration first.

### How long does xCloud keep deployment history?

Deployment history is kept for 30 days. Older deployments drop off the list automatically.

### Why does a deployment show no commit?

The first deployment that runs when a site is created is listed as Initial deployment. It runs the deploy script for the new site and has no commit of its own.

That's it! You can now see what is live on your Git site and find any failed deployment in a few clicks.
