After weeks of prep, team calls, and swag sorting, we landed in vibrant Kathmandu — ready for what would become an unforgettable experience at WordCamp Nepal 2025. Held at the Kundalini Durbar Banquet, right in the heart of the city, the event brought together over 1,000 WordPress enthusiasts from across Nepal and beyond. And for us at xCloud, being there was not just about sponsorship — it was about showing up for a community we believe and love in deeply.

Let us rewind the moments with WordCamp Nepal 2025 recap and see what made truly special.
From the moment we arrived, there was a buzz in the air — a feeling that something special was about to unfold. Local contributors, international guests, students, entrepreneurs — all united by one thing: a shared love for WordPress. And as Mount Everest Sponsors, we felt both proud and humbled to help power the weekend’s excitement.
But more than anything, we left Kathmandu with new connections, big ideas, and a renewed sense of purpose in the WordPress space — especially when it comes to growing hosting for WordPress in Nepal and building sustainable, community-focused businesses.
Contributor Day: Giving Back & Building WordPress Together
The sun was barely up over the Kathmandu hills when we arrived at the venue, coffee in hand, hearts full of excitement. It was Contributor Day — the unofficial “heart” of every WordCamp — and for us at xCloud, it marked the perfect way to kick things off at WordCamp Nepal 2025.
From the moment we stepped into the Contributor Hall, the energy was unmistakable. Tables were already filling up with people eager to give back to the platform that powers more than 43% of the web. Developers, translators, designers, marketers, documentation writers — everyone had a role to play. And this year, Nepal showed up in full force.
Our team contributed in across several areas:
🧠 Some of us joined the Core and Hosting teams, brainstorming ideas to improve infrastructure and site performance for users in Nepal and South Asia.
✍️ Others supported Documentation and Training, helping make WordPress more accessible for everyone — especially first-time users in emerging markets.
💬 And many just shared stories, offered guidance, and helped new contributors to contribute and give back to this open-source platform for the first time.
What stood out the most was not just the number of contributions, but the spirit of collaboration. People who had never met before were now deep in discussion about plugin standards, UX improvements, and multilingual accessibility.
And of course, in true xCloud WordCamp Nepal 2025 style, we brought some fun to the mix — with surprise stickers, casual booth convos, and plenty of laughs in between commits and Slack threads.
By the end of the day, there was something unspoken that we all felt: this was the real win. Not the swags or the giveaways — but this chance to give back, learn from each other, and grow WordPress together.
Conference Day: Conversations, Connections & xCloud Buzz
Day two of WordCamp Nepal 2025 kicked off with excitement. The halls of Kundalini Durbar Banquet were buzzing early — badges flashing, notebooks open, and conversations already in full swing before the first session even started.

And in the middle of it all? The xCloud booth, already drawing a crowd with high-fives, T-shirt handouts, and the smell of fresh Nepali coffee nearby. 🎁
The Conference Day brought a perfect mix of insightful talks, hallway chats, and unexpected reunions. From the Opening Ceremony to the last session of the day, it was a beautiful blend of knowledge-sharing and community celebration.
🎪 The xCloud Booth Buzz
We set up early, and by 9 a.m., our booth had become a mini WordPress hub. People dropped by for:
⛳ Our signature xCloud swags — caps, cardholders, and stickers (gone way faster than we expected!)
🎯 Fun “10-second WordPress”, “Spot The xCloud Logo” challenges that sparked friendly competition
📚 Info on fast, secure, and scalable hosting for WordPress in Nepal
🏆 And of course, to enter our showstopper Mega Giveaway (yes, AirPods were on the line)
We also loved hearing your feedback — from performance questions to plugin requests, the conversations we had helped us understand what developers and businesses in Nepal really need from their hosting provider.
WordCamp is always a like a reunion — and Conference Day felt like bumping into old friends and making new ones every few steps. From bloggers launching their first site to agency owners managing 100+, we were constantly inspired by the stories, struggles, and successes people shared with us.
We had many “Hey, I Know You!” Moments. We met a few folks who only knew xCloud through our social media, and it was amazing to finally put faces to usernames and DMs. Also, we made a lot of friends that we have build in our last WordCamp – WordCamp Asia 2025
