Hosting services usually set a default memory limit for PHP scripts to avoid misuse and resource overstocking. PHP memory limits for web hosting often range from 64MB to several gigabytes, depending on plan and server type.
In xCloud, you can easily increase the PHP maximum memory limit for better performance. Follow the steps below to learn how you can do that.
Step 1: Access To Your Site In xCloud #
Log in to the xCloud dashboard, go to the โAll Sitesโ tab, and select your preferred site for which you want to increase the PHP maximum memory limit.
Step 2: Check The PHP Version For Your Site #
From the siteโs โOverviewโ page, click on the โSettingsโ tab from the left panel.
Now, check your siteโs PHP version. You can also change your siteโs PHP version. If you want to do that, select the PHP version you want and tap the โSave Settingsโ button.
Step 3: Access Server PHP Settings & Increase PHP Maximum Memory Limit #
Now, click on your serverโs name (found below your site domain) to access your siteโs server. There, you can increase the PHP maximum memory limit for the siteโs PHP version.
Once you click the server, you will see the โPHP Settingsโ tab on the left panel. Go to the tab to increase the memory limit.
There, you will see your current maximum memory limit value. Select your siteโs PHP version. You can change the limit as much as you need, and it will apply to all the sites with that PHP version. Once done, hit the โSave Changesโ button.
