Safer Deploys and Restores, Plus Team Activity in the API

A Git deploy no longer touches your WordPress settings file or uploads, and an interrupted restore puts your site’s files back. Developers can now read the team’s recent activity from the API and MCP.

🧑‍💻 For Developers: Public API and MCP

  • Team activity. GET /api/v1/activity returns the team’s tasks from the last 30 days: name, type, status, times, server, site and who started it. Filter it by server, site, person, type, status, time or name, so you can find a deleted site by its domain. It is also the activity.list MCP tool. Only the team owner, or a team admin who can see logs and events, can read it. It never includes emails, command output or scripts.
  • Who started a task. servers.tasks now names who started each task.
  • Deployment logs. The deployment logs API now returns Docker sites’ deployments, like the dashboard.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Deploys
    • A Git deploy never deletes WordPress’s wp-config.php or uploads folder.
    • Git deploys work again for sites whose folder you replaced with a link of your own.
  • Backups and restores
    • A WordPress site restored from S3 loads again instead of showing a 403 error.
    • An interrupted restore puts the site’s original files back.
    • Bulk changes and site clones keep database backups on for every site.
  • SSL
    • A www address is no longer served with a certificate that doesn’t cover it.
  • Billing
    • Invoice pay links now open your invoice list instead of an error. The Last 1 Year filter now includes manual invoices and installments.
  • Cloudflare
    • Changing a site’s additional domains now updates their Cloudflare WAF rules too.
    • Edge Cache purge works again after you reconnect Cloudflare.
  • Servers
    • Deleting a Linode server whose token expired no longer shows as failed.
    • On OpenLiteSpeed, the 7G and 8G firewall switches now show the server’s reason and keep their state when the site’s .htaccess file can’t be changed.
    • One server’s security patch report now pauses only that server.
  • To-Do Center
    • Servers and sites of deleted teams no longer cause errors in the To-Do scan.
