SERVER MONITORING

A Server Monitoring Tool Built Into Your Dashboard

xCloud's server monitoring shows CPU, RAM, disk and bandwidth for each server you manage, plus which sites and processes use the most. It is for anyone running sites on their own cloud servers who wants to catch a full disk or a busy CPU early. Monitoring is included on paid plans.

  • CPU, RAM, disk and bandwidth per server
  • Live meters that refresh every 5 seconds
  • One page for every server in your team

WHY IT MATTERS

Why Monitor Your Servers?

  • Full disks stop sites

When the disk fills up, MySQL stops and pages fail. The fleet view marks a disk as Warning at 85%, before it reaches 100%.

  • Slow sites have a cause

A busy CPU or full memory is often one site or one process. Monitoring shows which one.

  • Many servers, one view

With several servers, you need to know which one needs you first.

WHAT YOU GET

What Does xCloud Server Monitoring Show?

  • Resource cards

RAM in use and free, CPU use and cores, disk used and free, and bandwidth for the last 30 days.

  • Usage over 24 hours

Charts of CPU and RAM over the last 24 hours, and usage for each site on the server.

  • Top processes and big files

The processes using the most CPU and RAM, and a scan that finds the largest files and folders.

  • Live Monitoring

Live CPU, RAM and disk meters in the server header. Above 80%, it names the sites and services using it.

  • Fleet view

Settings → Monitoring lists every server by status: Down, At risk, Warning, No data, Healthy or Not monitored.

HOW IT WORKS

How Do You Monitor a Server in xCloud?

  1. Open the server

Go to Servers, pick a server, then open Monitoring → Monitoring.

  2. Read the cards

Check RAM, CPU, disk and uptime at the top, then the 24-hour charts.

  3. Turn on Live Monitoring

Click the Live Monitoring switch at the bottom. Choose this server or all servers in the team.

  4. Check the whole fleet

Open Settings → Monitoring to see which servers need attention first, and why.

LIMITS AND PLANS

What Are the Limits?

  • Hourly reports

Charts and the fleet view use the report each server sends every hour. Only Live Monitoring is live.

  • 24 hours of history

The usage charts cover the last 24 hours.

  • No CPU or RAM alerts

xCloud warns you about low disk space, but does not send alerts for high CPU or RAM.

  • Plans

Paid plans. On the free plan, Monitoring is locked and servers show as Not monitored.

Frequently Asked Questions

What people ask about Server Monitoring on xCloud.

What does xCloud's server monitoring track?

RAM, CPU, disk, bandwidth and uptime for each server, usage for each site on it, the processes using the most CPU and RAM, and the largest files and folders when you run a scan.

How often is the data updated?

Each server sends a monitoring report every hour, and the charts and fleet view use it. Live Monitoring refreshes CPU, RAM and disk every 5 seconds while the server page is open.

Can I see all my servers on one page?

Yes. Open Settings, then Monitoring under Fleet. Servers that need you come first, with the reason, such as a disk that is almost full. You can group them by provider, region or tag.

Does xCloud alert me when CPU or RAM is high?

No. xCloud sends a warning when a server is low on disk space, but not for high CPU or RAM. Live Monitoring shows which sites and services are behind a CPU or RAM spike when you open the server.

Is server monitoring free?

No. Server monitoring and Live Monitoring are on paid plans. On the free plan, the Monitoring page is locked, and the fleet page lists your servers as Not monitored.
