v2.9.7.7
Fewer False BetterShield Alerts, and Backups That Repair Themselves
BetterShield no longer warns you about files xCloud writes for you. A scheduled backup that fails because its script is out of date now updates the script and runs again.
🔒 Security
- Git repositories need the integrations permission. A team member without permission to manage integrations can no longer analyze a Git repository or read its sample
.envfile. - pgAdmin only manages your site databases. pgAdmin’s owner rights now cover only the database users xCloud created for your sites.
⚡ Improvements
- No more false BetterShield file-change alerts. xCloud’s helper plugins for Magic Login and Cloudflare Edge Cache are now the same file every time xCloud uploads them. Before, every upload looked like a changed file and triggered a critical alert. WordPress core updates from xCloud now run with your plugins loaded, so BetterShield sees them as updates.
- Scheduled backups repair an out-of-date script. When a scheduled backup fails and its backup script is out of date, xCloud now updates the script and runs the backup once more.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Git deploys: a command in your deploy script that reads input no longer skips the rest of the script.
- Servers: rebuilding a server no longer fails at Created Server when the provider leaves it powered off. xCloud now starts it for you.
