v2.9.7.8
Choose Your Own WordPress Table Prefix
You can now set the database table prefix when you create a WordPress site. Mail Delivery API keys work again.
🔥 New Features
🆕 Set Your Own WordPress Database Table Prefix
Before, xCloud always picked the table prefix for a new WordPress site. Now you can type your own, for example to match another site or a plugin’s setup.
Who it’s for: WordPress site owners and agencies.
- When you create a WordPress site, open Advanced Settings and edit Database Table Prefix. Keep the generated value and xCloud uses a random prefix, as before.
- Use letters, numbers and underscores, up to 20 characters including the ending underscore (the limit was 32 when this release shipped; v2.9.8.3 lowered it).
- If the chosen database already has a WordPress site with that prefix, xCloud stops and tells you, instead of installing over it.

🧑💻 For Developers: Public API and MCP
POST /api/v1/servers/{uuid}/sites/wordpressaccepts an optionalprefix, with the same rules as the dashboard. The MCP site creation tool takes it too.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Mail Delivery: API keys now work and no longer expire, and Rotate API key works again.
- BetterShield: installing or removing it no longer leaves other plugins’ pages showing “404 Not Found”.
