v2.9.8.2

Meet the To-Do Center: Everything That Needs You, in One List

You no longer have to open each server and site to find out what needs attention. The new To-Do Center collects every notice into one list, and each card has its own buttons to fix it, ask the AI assistant, or put it off. This release also fixes certificate renewals on OpenLiteSpeed and makes the nightly vulnerability scan more reliable.

🔥 New Features

🆕 One To-Do List for All Your Servers and Sites

Before, notices about updates, failed backups, SSL and disk space were spread across many pages as banners. Now the to-do list icon in the top bar opens one list of everything that needs you, most urgent first.

Who it’s for: Everyone. The To-Do Center is on for every team.

  • One card per problem. Each card is labelled Important, Needs attention or Recommended. One card can cover many sites or servers, with a row for each, for example “WordPress updates are waiting on 3 sites”.
  • Nothing runs until you say so. A Fix button first shows What changes, Downtime and Time. Nothing starts until you click Fix now. A PHP security patch, for example, is fixed on every affected server from one card, with your sites staying online.
  • Fix with AI or Ask AI why. Fix with AI opens the AI assistant with the problem filled in, and it asks before every change. Cards whose cause has to be found first, such as a WordPress fatal error or a failing backup, offer Ask AI why.
  • Put it off. Snooze hides a card for a while, Ignore moves it to the Ignored tab, and Skip leaves out one site or server.
  • See what was fixed. The Done tab keeps every fix from the last 30 days, and who made it.
  • Your choice. A team owner or admin can turn the list off under Settings → Customization, which brings back the page banners.

🔒 Security

  • Deploy scripts need the right permission. Setting or changing a deploy script, when you create a Git or Docker site or retry a deploy, now needs the Manage Deploy Scripts permission. Team roles and permissions

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • SSL
    • On OpenLiteSpeed, visitors now get the renewed certificate right after a renewal. Before, the server kept serving the old one.
    • A domain change on OpenLiteSpeed whose certificate failed now shows as failed instead of done.
    • Deleting a site now removes its certificate files too.
  • Deploys
    • A site whose deploy script was saved by an older version of xCloud now runs its own script instead of the default one.
  • Vulnerability Scan
    • The nightly scan no longer skips teams when the database is busy. It tries again a few times before it gives up.
  • Backups
    • You can sort the restore list by newest or oldest, and long values now fit in the Docker backups table.
