How is the score weighted?
AI crawler access 20, llms.txt 15, structured data 25, extractability 20, AI metadata 10, answer format 10. Structured data and crawler access carry the most weight because without them an engine can neither read nor trust you.
Why does traffic to AI answers matter?
A growing share of research starts in an AI assistant that answers directly and cites a few sources. If it cannot crawl or parse your page, you are invisible in that answer no matter how well you rank in classic search.
Does a high score guarantee citations?
No. It removes the technical blockers and makes your content easy to extract and trust. Being cited also depends on relevance and authority for the specific question, which no on-page audit can guarantee.
