From Sign-Up to a Live API Workspace In Just 3 Easy Steps

Get Hoppscotch running fast with a guided OneClick form. There are no app-specific fields — we generate the database credentials and encryption key, run the migrations, and hand you a working admin dashboard.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and choose your plan. Takes 30 seconds — no server or technical setup needed.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy Hoppscotch

Enter a site title and a domain — there are no app-specific fields. We start PostgreSQL, wait for it to report healthy, run Hoppscotch's migrations, bring up the app and finish HTTPS in under 5 minutes.

  3. Step 03

Claim Admin And Invite Your Team

Open /admin and sign in straight away — the first user to sign in there becomes the administrator. Set up SMTP or an OAuth provider, then create workspaces and invite the rest of the team.

Not Just A REST Client — Your Team's API Workspace, Self-Hosted

Hoppscotch is a complete API development platform: build a request, save it, share it, and come back to it with the whole team's collections and environments already in place.

  • REST API Client And GraphQL Client

Compose requests, inspect responses and iterate on both API styles from one interface, with syntax help built in.

  • WebSocket Testing Tool

Open WebSocket, Server-Sent Events, Socket.IO and MQTT connections and watch messages flow, without reaching for a second tool.

  • Collections

Keep working examples of every endpoint organized where the next engineer will actually find them.

  • Environments

Swap between local, staging and production variables in one click instead of hand-editing every URL and token.

  • Team Workspaces

Share collections and environments with a workspace per service or per squad, and manage membership yourself.

  • An Admin Dashboard

Control users, workspaces, sign-in providers, SMTP and request-history settings from the dashboard at /admin.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian Geovanny
I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin Pineda
I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar Ahmed
Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

I had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

What is Hoppscotch?

Hoppscotch is an open-source API development environment. You build and send REST and GraphQL requests, work with realtime protocols, save everything in collections and environments, and share it with your team through workspaces — all in the browser.

Is self-hosted Hoppscotch free?

The Community Edition this template deploys is listed upstream as free, forever, with community support — you pay for the server it runs on. Hoppscotch Enterprise self-host and Hoppscotch Cloud are separate upstream products with their own pricing, and neither is included here.

What does the xCloud template install?

The pinned Hoppscotch 2026.7.0 all-in-one container — web app, admin dashboard and backend — alongside a PostgreSQL 15 sidecar on an internal Docker network. We generate the database credentials and a 32-character encryption key, run the database migrations before the app starts, bind the app to localhost, and put your domain and HTTPS in front of it.

Which API protocols does it support?

REST and GraphQL for request/response work, plus WebSocket, Server-Sent Events, Socket.IO and MQTT for realtime services — from the same workspace, so you're not switching tools to test a socket.

How do I create the first administrator?

Open https://your-domain/admin and sign in immediately after deployment. Hoppscotch makes the first user who signs in through the admin dashboard the administrator, so claim it before you share the URL. Configure SMTP for magic-link email, or a GitHub, Google or Microsoft OAuth provider, as part of that first sign-in.

Is Hoppscotch a Postman or Insomnia alternative?

It is the open-source Postman alternative — and the Insomnia alternative — that teams evaluate when they'd rather not keep their API workspace on somebody else's hosted service. It is not a claim of complete feature parity — check imports, scripting, collaboration and governance against your own requirements and the current Hoppscotch release.

Can I run Hoppscotch with Docker?

Yes — the Hoppscotch Docker all-in-one image is what this template runs, pinned to 2026.7.0, with a PostgreSQL 15 sidecar on a private network. Migrations run before the app starts and the container is health-gated, so you get Hoppscotch self hosted without writing the Compose file or generating the encryption key.

What does Hoppscotch pricing look like?

Hoppscotch pricing for the Community Edition this deploys is free, forever, with community support — there is no per-seat fee. Your cost is the Cloud VPS, from $24.99/month for the whole team rather than per user. Hoppscotch Enterprise self-host was listed upstream at $190 per user per year for SSO, identity management and audit logs; that is a separate product and is not included here.

How much server do I need?

The template's enforced minimum is 1 CPU core, 2 GB RAM and 10 GB of disk, so the 6 GB plan clears it comfortably and covers a growing team without a resize. Disk use follows your team: collections, environments, users, request history and encrypted integration settings all live in PostgreSQL.

What must I back up?

The PostgreSQL volume and the data-encryption key, together. The volume holds users, workspaces, collections, environments, request history and server configuration; the key is what makes the encrypted integration settings readable. Prefer a logical pg_dump, encrypt the backup, keep a copy off-server, and test the restore into a disposable install before you rely on it.

Does xCloud automatically upgrade Hoppscotch?

No. New installs are pinned to 2026.7.0, and a catalogue update affects future installs only. Upgrading an existing site is deliberate: back up PostgreSQL, preserve the encryption key, read the release notes, move to an exact reviewed tag, let the startup migration finish — and never delete the PostgreSQL volume in the process.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
