v2.9.8.7
Cloudflare Enterprise Setup Now Waits for Payment
Cloudflare Enterprise setup now starts only once its invoice is paid, and the page tells you why it is waiting. If you signed up with Google or GitHub, you can now set a password and turn on two-factor authentication. This release also fixes Redis object caching, billing and the Security Update page.
🔥 New Features
🆕 Cloudflare Enterprise Setup Starts Only After Payment
Before, a payment that did not go through could still show DNS records and a setup bar that looked almost done. If you then changed your DNS to those records, your site could go offline. Now no records show until the invoice is paid.
Who it’s for: Anyone who buys the Cloudflare Enterprise add-on for a domain.
- Clear status: an unpaid domain shows Awaiting payment, or Payment failed with the reason. Keep your DNS pointing to your server while it waits.
- Pay later: a failed payment keeps the domain and its invoice. Select Pay invoice when you are ready, and setup continues on its own once it is paid.
- No false success: the pay button no longer says the add-on was added when the charge did not go through. It shows a warning instead.
- Remove cleanly: select Remove to drop an unpaid purchase. It removes every domain from that checkout and cancels its invoice, and the confirmation names those domains.
- No surprise lock: an unpaid purchase never locks your team and is not charged again each day.

🆕 Set a Password If You Signed Up with Google or GitHub
Before, two-factor authentication and Change Password asked for a password you never had. So you could not turn on two-factor authentication, or use the features that need it.
Who it’s for: Everyone who signs in to xCloud with Google or GitHub.
- Go to Settings → Authentication and select Email me a code. Enter the 6-digit code with your new password, then select Set password.
- The Change Password page shows the same form when your account has no password yet.
- The two-factor authentication card now shows a Set a password button that takes you to the form.
- The code works for 15 minutes and only once, and it stops working after 5 wrong tries.

⚡ Improvements
- Deleted servers and unpaid invoices: deleting a server whose bill is on an unpaid monthly invoice with other services no longer blocks paying that invoice online. The server’s bill stays on it at a final charge for the time the server ran, at least 24 hours. What Happens to Billing When You Delete a Server in xCloud
- Free White Label for LTD users: the free White Label plan now comes with the LTD packages that include the offer. Packages that already had it still do, and plans you already claimed do not change. White Label Plans for LTD Users
- Object cache check on the Caching page: when Redis Object Cache is on, the page now checks the site. If the object cache is missing or not connected, a warning under the switch offers Repair.
- Cache switches tell you when they fail: if turning a cache on or off fails, the Caching page now shows an error, and every switch shows the site’s real state.
- Redis databases per site: existing servers are moving each WordPress site to its own Redis database, a few servers at a time. You don’t need to do anything.
🐞 Bug Fixes
- Caching and Redis
- Changing a WordPress site’s URL, and cloning, restoring, migrating or staging it, no longer turns its object cache off while the Caching page still shows it on.
- The LiteSpeed object cache now keeps working when a site moves to its own Redis database.
- Turning on object caching no longer fails on some servers where Redis was set up differently.
- Updating a server’s software no longer changes its Redis password or breaks object caching for your sites.
- Billing
- Turning server backups off now stays off. Before, the backup bill could turn back on and be charged again.
- Paying a monthly invoice that includes Mail Delivery now tries again if adding your email credits fails, and never adds them twice.
- An old payment confirmation link now takes you to the invoice with a clear message, instead of an error page.
- Servers
- The Security Update page no longer says Ubuntu security updates cover MariaDB 10.x when they don’t. It now shows Not updated automatically.
- On OpenLiteSpeed servers, the PHP row on the Security Update page no longer shows Update pending for Ubuntu PHP packages your sites never use.
- The Database page keeps your databases in the list when a refresh fails, and a deleted database now leaves the list.
- Settings and reports
- Set as Default on a blueprint now shows an error when it fails, instead of a false success.
- On the Notifications page, the Actions column now lines up with its buttons.
- On Reports → Terminal Sessions, searching and then opening page 2 no longer shows an error.
