Deploy RAGFlow hosting and give your team a private, document-based AI knowledge base on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned RAGFlow v1.0.0-rc2 image with its own MySQL, Elasticsearch, object store, Kvrocks and NATS, all private to the server, generates the administrator password, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the web app and API over HTTPS. Sign-up is closed by default, and you add your own chat and embedding model providers.
RAGFlow is an open-source Retrieval-Augmented Generation engine that upstream says combines RAG with agent capabilities to give language models a better context layer. It offers deep document understanding, template-based chunking with chunk visualization, grounded citations, agentic retrieval with Low to Ultra thinking modes, knowledge compilation, and support for Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, scanned and web content. Self-hosted RAGFlow is the alternative to a hosted RAG service such as upstream's own RAGFlow Cloud, under the Apache-2.0 licence.
On xCloud it is RAGFlow v1.0.0-rc2 with MySQL 8.0.40, Elasticsearch 8.11.3, an S3-compatible object store, Kvrocks and NATS, all pinned by digest, on five persistent volumes. No language model runs on the server: you add a chat model and an embedding model with your provider's API key. It is a release candidate and a heavy stack.
A RAGFlow stack normally means a web service, a database, a search index, an object store, a cache and a message queue, plus credentials, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first document is parsed. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick RAGFlow from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in, because xCloud generates the credentials.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official RAGFlow image, pinned by immutable digest, with private MySQL, Elasticsearch, an object store, Kvrocks and NATS that publish no host ports, mount the mysql_data, minio_data, esdata01, kvrocks_data and nats_data volumes, generate the administrator password, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
The first start runs migrations and can take a few minutes. Open your-domain/admin, sign in as [email protected] with the generated password, create a user under User management, then sign in at the main domain and add a chat and an embedding model under Model providers before creating a knowledge base.
RAGFlow runs in full here: document parsing, chunking and retrieval behind your own domain, with the data stores kept on your server.
RAGFlow extracts knowledge from unstructured data with complicated formats, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TXT, images, PDFs, scanned copies, structured data and web pages.
Choose from chunking templates, with a visualisation of the text chunks so a person can step in and adjust them.
Answers come with quick views of the key references and traceable citations, to support grounded answers and reduce hallucinations.
Multi-step retrieval for complex questions: the model can break a question down, retrieve knowledge and verify evidence, with Low, Medium, High or Ultra thinking modes.
No language model runs on the server. Add a chat model and an embedding model with your provider's API key under Model providers; both are configurable.
MySQL, Elasticsearch, the object store, Kvrocks and NATS are reachable only inside the install's private network, with no published ports.
Managed hosting for RAGFlow, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Load policies, contracts and manuals into a knowledge base and ask questions in chat, with citations that trace back to the source chunks.
Use chunk visualization to see how text was split and step in to correct it before a bad chunk produces a bad answer.
Combine retrieval with agent workflows, and pick a thinking mode from Low to Ultra to trade depth for speed.
Run the whole pipeline on your own server and send only prompts to the model provider you choose.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Yes. Upstream documents local deployment with Docker, and this template is RAGFlow Docker hosting with the five supporting services already wired: pinned images, five volumes, generated passwords and HTTPS. It is your own RAGFlow cloud, but plan for a heavy stack and several minutes at first start.
RAGFlow declares 12288 MB RAM, 4 cores and 30 GB of disk; idle use in QA was about 3.6 GB. That floor does not fit a 6 GB server, so this page starts at the 16 GB plan, which leaves room for Elasticsearch and document parsing.
Yes, the software is Apache-2.0 open source with no fee. Your costs are the larger Cloud VPS and whatever your language model provider charges for API calls. Upstream also runs a hosted RAGFlow Cloud, which this self-hosted setup replaces.
Open /admin on your HTTPS address and sign in as [email protected] with the generated password. That administrator only manages the server. To use RAGFlow itself, create a user under User management, then sign in at the main address and add your model providers.
No. No language model runs on this server. After signing in, open your profile, choose Model providers, and add a chat model and an embedding model with your provider's API key before you create a knowledge base. Prompts and document excerpts then go to that provider.
Upstream lists Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, TXT files, images, PDFs, scanned copies, structured data and web pages. Uploads up to 1 GB per file are accepted here, but a domain served through Cloudflare's proxy is limited to 100 MB per request.
No. Sign-up is closed by default, so only users the administrator creates can sign in. To open registration, set ENABLE_REGISTER and REGISTER_ENABLED to 1 in the Environment editor and Save and Redeploy, remembering that anyone with the link could then register.
The first start runs database migrations and brings up Elasticsearch, which can take several minutes before the sign-in screen appears. If search later stops working or Elasticsearch keeps restarting, raise vm.max_map_count to at least 262144 on the server and make it permanent in sysctl.conf.
Back up all five volumes together: mysql_data, minio_data, esdata01, kvrocks_data and nats_data, because they hold metadata, uploaded files and the search index. Stop the app first so they agree, keep the generated passwords with them, and test a restore on a spare server.
The install stays on pinned v1.0.0-rc2 and its supporting images until you adopt a newer template version. Back up every volume, skim upstream's release notes, then redeploy and check sign-in, a parse and a chat. Nothing upgrades automatically, and rc2 is a release candidate.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
