Deploy MetaMCP hosting and give your AI agents one gateway to every MCP server you run. xCloud deploys the pinned MetaMCP 2.4.22 image with a private PostgreSQL 16 database, generates the credentials, mounts a persistent volume and publishes the interface and MCP endpoints over HTTPS on your domain in minutes — ready for you to register your first account.
MetaMCP is an open-source MCP aggregator, orchestrator, middleware and gateway. You register the MCP servers you use, group them into namespaces, and publish each namespace as one endpoint that your AI agents connect to over SSE, Streamable HTTP or OpenAPI.
Instead of configuring every MCP server in every client, you point clients at a single URL on your own domain and protect it with an API key created in the app.
A MetaMCP stack normally means the app container, a PostgreSQL database, generated secrets, a volume, a domain and a certificate before the first MCP server is added. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick MetaMCP from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official MetaMCP image, pinned by immutable digest, with a private PostgreSQL 16 database that has no public port, mount the metamcp_postgres_data volume, generate the secrets and database password, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain. The first start runs migrations and takes about a minute.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS MetaMCP URL and register your account at /en/register, then turn off new sign-ups in the settings. Add an MCP server, put it in a namespace, create an endpoint and an API key, and point your agent at the endpoint.
MetaMCP runs in full here: a web interface and MCP endpoints on your own domain, backed by a database you own.
Combine many MCP servers into a namespace, so one set of tools can be offered to an agent as a single unit.
Each endpoint is published under /metamcp/ with SSE, Streamable HTTP and OpenAPI URLs, so different clients can connect the way they prefer.
Endpoints require an API key that you create in the app, so only clients you issue a key to can call your servers.
Run STDIO MCP servers, for example through uvx or npx, inside the MetaMCP container and reach them over HTTPS.
Upstream supports OpenID Connect sign-in, configured through the environment; the template does not set it up for you.
Servers, namespaces, endpoints, API keys and users live in PostgreSQL 16 with no published port, and survived an xCloud Restart in QA.
Managed hosting for MetaMCP, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Group the MCP servers an agent needs into a namespace and hand it a single URL instead of a list of separate server configs.
Publish separate endpoints for different namespaces and issue API keys per consumer, so each agent only reaches the tools it should.
Servers that normally run locally through uvx or npx run inside the container and are reachable by remote clients over HTTPS.
Expose an endpoint as OpenAPI as well as SSE or Streamable HTTP, so tools that speak plain HTTP can call the same servers.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

It aggregates MCP servers into namespaces and publishes each namespace as a single endpoint over SSE, Streamable HTTP or OpenAPI, so an agent connects to one URL instead of many servers.
Open your HTTPS URL and register the first account at /en/register. The first start runs database migrations and takes about a minute, so the page may not answer until then.
Yes, straight away. Registration stays open until you turn off new sign-ups in the MetaMCP settings, and any signed-in user can add STDIO servers that run commands inside the container. There is no environment setting for this, and the template does not enable Basic Auth.
Endpoints under /metamcp/ require an API key that you create in the app.
A private PostgreSQL 16 database with no published port. It holds servers, namespaces, endpoints, API keys and users.
Yes. STDIO servers, for example started through uvx or npx, run inside the container. Packages fetched through npx or uvx are downloaded again after the container is recreated.
Upstream supports optional OpenID Connect sign-in, configured through the environment. The template does not configure it for you.
The metamcp_postgres_data volume, which holds all application state. Keep BETTER_AUTH_SECRET stable, because it signs sessions, and keep the generated database password private.
APP_URL and NEXT_PUBLIC_APP_URL must equal the address you open in the browser, or sign-in is rejected. If you change the domain, update both and Save & Redeploy.
The password is read only when the volume is first created, so editing it in the environment does not change the running database. Rotate it in PostgreSQL first, then update the environment value and redeploy.
No. The template pins MetaMCP 2.4.22 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 5 GB of disk; measured use in QA was about 410 MB with one STDIO server. Give it more RAM if you run several STDIO servers. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.
Data on the metamcp_postgres_data volume — servers, namespaces, endpoints, API keys and users were still present after an xCloud Restart in QA, because it is a persistent named volume.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the MetaMCP project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source MetaMCP project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
