Deploy Manifest hosting and put one OpenAI-compatible endpoint in front of every model provider you use. xCloud runs the pinned Manifest 6.28.7 image with a private PostgreSQL 16 database and a small Caddy gateway, generates the administrator password, session secret and encryption key, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the dashboard and the /v1 gateway over HTTPS in minutes.
Manifest is an open-source LLM gateway for AI agents and apps. You connect your API keys, subscriptions and local models, and it exposes them through one OpenAI-compatible endpoint, sending each query to the right model so you are not locked in to a single provider.
Upstream lists 35 built-in provider connections plus custom OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible endpoints, and a dashboard that tracks cost and usage. This template deploys version 6.28.7.
A Manifest stack normally means the app, a PostgreSQL database, a reverse proxy, generated secrets, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first request is routed. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Manifest from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server, then enter the Administrator Email for the first account.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official Manifest image, pinned by immutable digest, with a private PostgreSQL 16 database and a Caddy gateway, keep the app and database off the host's public ports, mount the manifest_db and manifest_recordings volumes, generate the admin password, session secret and encryption key, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS Manifest URL and sign in with your Administrator Email and the generated Admin Password (the first start can take a minute or two for migrations). Add a provider API key, create an agent, and point your client at https://your-domain/v1 with the agent key.
Manifest runs in full here: an OpenAI-compatible gateway and its dashboard on your own domain, backed by a database you own.
Send requests to /v1 on your domain and Manifest routes each one to a model from your connected API keys, subscriptions, local models or custom providers.
Track token usage and spend per model, and set limits and notifications from the dashboard.
Create an agent for each app or workflow and give it its own routing rules, with its own agent key.
When a query fails, Manifest can fall back to a different model instead of returning the error to your app.
Bodies are logged for both successful and failed messages, and recordings are kept on the persistent manifest_recordings volume.
Sign-up requests are answered with 403, so the administrator is the only account, and provider keys you add are encrypted at rest with a generated encryption key.
Managed hosting for Manifest, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Point every app and agent at /v1 on your domain instead of wiring each one to a separate provider SDK and key.
See token usage and cost per model in one dashboard, and set limits and notifications before a runaway agent gets expensive.
Configure fallback models so a failed request is retried on another model rather than surfacing as an error in your product.
Create one agent per app or workflow, each with its own agent key and routing rules, and review its request logs when something misbehaves.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Use the Administrator Email you entered at install and the generated Admin Password from the credentials page. The first start runs database migrations and can take a minute or two before the page loads.
No. Public sign-up is closed and requests to it are answered with 403, so the administrator created at first start is the only account.
A private PostgreSQL 16 database and a small Caddy gateway that seeds the administrator account and closes sign-up. Neither the Manifest app nor the database is published on a host port; the Caddy gateway serves both the dashboard and the /v1 gateway through xCloud-managed HTTPS.
Add a provider API key in the dashboard, create an agent, and point your OpenAI-compatible client at https://your-domain/v1 using the agent key.
Yes, through a custom OpenAI-compatible provider added in the dashboard with a base URL the container can reach. The template does not wire in model servers running on the host itself.
The manifest_db and manifest_recordings volumes, together with the generated session secret and encryption key. Without the encryption key, stored provider API keys cannot be read.
Keep both stable for the life of the install: changing the encryption key makes stored provider API keys unreadable, and changing the session secret signs everyone out.
Not to change the existing account. The administrator is created once from those values on first start; change the password inside Manifest afterwards.
The gateway accepts up to 512 MB per request. Behind the Cloudflare proxy, Cloudflare's own request limit still applies.
No. Telemetry and the daily update check are switched off by default in this template, and can be turned back on through the environment values.
No. The template pins Manifest 6.28.7 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 5 GB of disk; measured use in QA was about 322 MiB idle and about 269 MiB after routing requests. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.
Agents, provider settings and API keys survived an xCloud Restart in QA, because they live on the persistent manifest_db volume.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Manifest project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Manifest project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
