AzuraCast hosting on xCloud gives you self-hosted web radio software without building the server yourself. Deploy AzuraCast from the OneClick catalog and xCloud starts the pinned all-in-one container behind HTTPS on your domain, with a generated database password and persistent volumes for your station media and database. You then finish the setup wizard, create a station and share the public player link.
AzuraCast is a simple, self-hosted web radio management suite, so self-hosted AzuraCast gives you a station you run yourself instead of renting SHOUTcast hosting. You manage stations, playlists, AutoDJ, listener statistics and a public web player from one web interface. It is licensed under AGPL-3.0, and its official Docker image bundles nginx, PHP-FPM, MariaDB, Redis, Icecast and Liquidsoap.
On xCloud this template deploys AzuraCast 0.23.8 as that single all-in-one container, pinned by digest, behind HTTPS on your domain. MariaDB runs inside that container and is not exposed publicly. Named volumes hold station media, backups, the database and uploads, and xCloud generates the database passwords. There is no preset admin account: the first person through the setup wizard becomes Super Administrator.
AzuraCast hosting normally means a Docker host, a domain, a certificate, a database and racing to claim the admin account before anyone else. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick AzuraCast from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain and server — no other fields, because xCloud generates the database credentials.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned AzuraCast 0.23.8 image and publish it over HTTPS on your domain. Allow a few minutes for the first boot to finish.
Step 03
Open the HTTPS URL right away and complete the setup wizard — the first account becomes Super Administrator. Then create a station, upload media and share the public player link.
AzuraCast runs in full here as one all-in-one container: AutoDJ, live DJs, a public player and analytics, on infrastructure you control.
Liquidsoap AutoDJ plays your library from standard-rotation or scheduled playlists, so the station keeps streaming between live shows.
Broadcast with the built-in Web DJ, or create individual DJ and streamer accounts for your presenters.
Listen streams, Web DJ and HLS are served on the same HTTPS URL through the radio proxy. Listeners never need a special port.
Upload songs, edit metadata and organise folders. Station media uses chunked uploads, so typical library files work.
Track listeners with detailed analytics and reports, and automate with the authenticated REST API and web hooks such as Discord, Slack and TuneIn.
Media, playlists, streamer accounts and admin login were all retained after a container restart, and the station auto-started and resumed streaming — verified on QA.
Managed hosting for AzuraCast, so the server underneath your station is not your problem.
A station owner uploads a library, builds standard-rotation or scheduled playlists, and lets Liquidsoap AutoDJ keep the stream running around the clock, with presenters taking over only for live slots.
A community or campus station creates a streamer account for each DJ, or uses the built-in Web DJ, so a presenter can broadcast from a laptop without installing encoder software.
A broadcaster shares the public station page on their own HTTPS domain. Streams, Web DJ and HLS use that one address, so listeners never need a special port.
A developer connects other tools to the authenticated REST API or web hooks, such as Discord or Slack, and reads listener analytics and reports without opening the admin pages.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes, and this AzuraCast Docker hosting template does it for you: one pinned all-in-one container with ten named volumes behind HTTPS on your domain. Your station runs on your own server, not in an AzuraCast cloud account, and the compose file and passwords are generated for you.
Yes. AzuraCast is free and open-source software under the AGPL-3.0 licence, linked from this page at the pinned 0.23.8 tag. xCloud's bill covers the dedicated Cloud VPS underneath, separate from the app's own licence, with no per-station fee.
AutoDJ is the built-in automation that keeps a station streaming without a person at the desk. Liquidsoap plays your uploaded media from standard-rotation or scheduled playlists, and live DJs can take over for their slots. It starts with the station after a restart, as QA verified.
Yes. Create a streamer account for each presenter and broadcast with the built-in Web DJ from a browser, which runs over the same HTTPS domain as the public player. Direct Icecast source ports (8000–8499) are not published on this install, so presenters go live through Web DJ.
Yes. AzuraCast has an authenticated REST API and web hooks, such as Discord, Slack and TuneIn. On this template the API is served on your HTTPS domain, and unauthenticated requests are rejected once the setup wizard has closed. Create your API keys inside AzuraCast.
The template manifest asks for 1 CPU core, 2048 MB of RAM and 20 GB of disk. Measured idle use on QA was about 436 MiB, or about 586 MiB with one station on air, and each extra station adds processes. This page sells the 6 GB tier for headroom.
Upgrades are manual, never automatic. The image is pinned by digest and the in-app web updater is disabled, because this template ships no Docker-socket updater. Read the upstream release notes, back up all volumes, then bump the tag and image digest together. Catalog updates affect new installs only.
Back up all the named volumes together: station_data (media and station configs), backups, db_data (MariaDB) and www_uploads, plus the .env values. Stop the container or use an application-consistent snapshot before copying db_data, keep an off-server copy, and test a restore.
The image bundles Icecast and Liquidsoap, so streams are served through Icecast. A shoutcast2_install volume exists for optional encoder binaries, but this page does not promise SHOUTcast support. Direct Icecast source ports and SFTP are not published; everything goes through your HTTPS domain.
No. Direct Icecast source ports (8000–8499) and SFTP (2022) are not published on this install. Listen, Web DJ and HLS paths share your HTTPS domain, so listeners and Web DJ presenters need no special port, and you link the public player page rather than embedding it elsewhere.
There is no preset admin password. Open your HTTPS URL right after install and complete the setup wizard; the first account becomes Super Administrator, and until then anyone who reaches the wizard can claim the instance. Enter your domain as the Site Base URL.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
