Beszel Hub Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Beszel Hub hosting on xCloud gives you a self-hosted server monitoring hub on your own domain. Deploy Beszel in one click and xCloud brings up the pinned hub image, a persistent beszel_data volume and HTTPS. Create the first user, then add each system you want to watch by installing the separate Beszel agent on it. This template deploys the hub only and does not monitor the xCloud server itself.

What is Beszel Hub?

Self-hosted Beszel is a lightweight server monitoring platform with Docker statistics, historical data and alert functions. It has two parts: the hub, a web application built on PocketBase that shows a dashboard of connected systems, and the agent, which runs on each system you want to monitor and sends its metrics to the hub. It supports multiple users, OAuth and OIDC sign-in and API access, and it is MIT licensed.

On xCloud the template runs henrygd/beszel 0.21.0, pinned by immutable digest, behind xCloud's nginx with HTTPS on your domain. It installs only the hub: no agent, Docker socket, host filesystem mount, host networking or privileged mode. Everything the hub stores, including its database, users, systems, metrics history and alerts, lives on the beszel_data volume. The first user you create becomes the administrator.

From Sign-Up to a Live Beszel Hub In Just 3 Easy Steps

Self-hosting Beszel Hub normally means containers, a database, a domain and a certificate before anything works. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick Beszel Hub from the OneClick catalog. Takes 30 seconds — no server to prepare.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up henrygd/beszel 0.21.0, pinned by immutable digest, mount the beszel_data volume and publish the hub over HTTPS on your domain. No agent is installed and no host access is granted.

  3. Step 03

    Start Using It

Open your HTTPS URL and create the first user, which initializes the hub administrator. Then add a system in the hub and run the agent installation it generates on the machine you want to monitor.

Everything Beszel Hub Does, On Your Own Server

Beszel Hub runs here as the hub only, with its database and metrics history on a volume you control.

  • Hub And Agent Design

The hub is a PocketBase-based web dashboard, and a separate agent on each monitored system sends its metrics to it. This template installs the hub only.

  • Docker Container Statistics

Tracks CPU, memory and network usage history for each container, alongside host metrics such as disk, load and temperature.

  • Configurable Alerts

Set alerts on most metrics and route them to many notification services, so you hear about a full disk before the server does.

  • Multi-User Access

Users manage their own systems, and admins can share systems across users, so a team can watch the same servers.

  • OAuth And OIDC Sign-In

Supports many OAuth2 providers and lets you disable password sign-in. Provider setup is yours to configure in the hub.

  • No Host Access Granted

The template mounts no Docker socket or host filesystem and uses neither host networking nor privileged mode.

Everything You Need To Run Your Monitoring 24/7

Managed hosting for Beszel Hub, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.

  • Beszel Hub deployed instantly
  • Image pinned by immutable digest
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Hub data on a persistent volume
  • Server backups and snapshots
  • Server security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unused balance refunded

What You Can Do With Beszel Hub

  • Watch every server from one dashboard

Add each VPS or home server as a system and see CPU, memory, disk, network and load history on one page, reported by the agent you install on each of them.

  • Track resource use per container

See CPU, memory and network history for each Docker or Podman container, so you can tell which container is eating a server's memory before it slows everything down.

  • Get alerted on disk and temperature

Configure alerts on most metrics, including S.M.A.R.T. disk health and temperature, and send them to the notification services you already use, instead of finding out afterwards.

  • Give a team shared visibility

Let each person manage their own systems while admins share chosen systems across users, with OAuth or OIDC sign-in so people use the accounts they already have.

Beszel Hub vs Alternatives

Datadog
Compared with Datadog, Beszel keeps its metrics history on your own beszel_data volume, and upstream positions it as smaller and less resource-intensive than leading solutions.
Netdata
Compared with Netdata, Beszel's pitch is simple setup with little manual configuration: a hub you deploy once, and an agent you install on each system from instructions the hub generates.
Uptime Kuma
Compared with Uptime Kuma, also on xCloud, Beszel is agent-based: it reports host and container metrics such as CPU, memory, disk and network from the machines you monitor.
Gatus
Compared with Gatus, also on xCloud, Beszel's hub plus agent design adds system metrics, Docker statistics and S.M.A.R.T. disk health, with history kept for each monitored system.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!

I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.

I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

How do I self-host the Beszel hub with Docker?

This template does it for you. Beszel Docker hosting here means the henrygd/beszel hub image pinned by immutable digest, one named volume at /beszel_data and HTTPS on your domain, and no compose file to maintain. It installs the hub only, never an agent.

How do I install the Beszel agent?

In the hub, add a system and follow the agent installation instructions and credentials it generates, on the machine you want to monitor. The agent is separate software and may need elevated access on that system. This template deliberately installs no agent and grants no host access.

Is Beszel free?

Yes. Beszel is open source under the MIT licence, so the software carries no fee. The xCloud bill covers the Cloud VPS hosting the hub, billed monthly with no lock-in, while the agents run on systems you already pay for.

What is the difference between Beszel and Uptime Kuma?

Beszel is a hub and agent system that reports host and container metrics, history and alerts for each monitored machine. Uptime Kuma is a separate application. xCloud runs both as OneClick apps, so you can deploy each on its own server.

What is the difference between Beszel and Netdata?

Upstream describes Beszel as lightweight and simple to set up, using a hub you host and an agent per system. Netdata is a different monitoring product, and its features fall outside the sources behind this page, so compare it with its own documentation.

Does Beszel monitor Docker containers?

Yes. Beszel tracks CPU, memory and network usage history for each container, covering Docker and Podman. That needs an agent on the Docker host, and this template installs none, so containers on other machines appear once you add their agents.

Does Beszel support alerts?

Yes. Upstream offers configurable alerts for most metrics and supports many notification services. Alerts apply to systems you have added, so confirm a system is reporting metrics from its agent before you rely on alerts for it.

How do I update Beszel?

The hub stays on the 0.21.0 image chosen at install, and a catalog re-sync reaches new installations only, so xCloud does not upgrade it for you. Back up beszel_data, read the upstream release and migration notes, change the image deliberately, then check each agent still reports.

How much RAM does Beszel need on a Beszel cloud server?

The manifest asks for 256 MB of RAM, one CPU core and 1 GB of disk. On xCloud, Beszel cloud hosting begins at the 6 GB tier, well past that floor, so metrics history for more systems and room for other apps on the same server are not a squeeze.

What should I back up?

Take a backup of the beszel_data volume. It holds the hub database, users, systems, metrics history, alerts and configuration. Restore it to the same pinned hub version before starting the service, then upgrade by the upstream notes if needed.

Is Beszel Hub on xCloud run by the Beszel project?

No. xCloud runs the server and deploys the upstream henrygd/beszel 0.21.0 hub image; the Beszel project is independent, and questions about agent setup, metrics and alert rules belong with the Beszel documentation and community. The hub image is pinned by immutable digest, and its data stays on the beszel_data volume.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
