Convos is a multiuser chat application that runs in your web browser. Its README says the supported chat protocol is currently IRC, though it can be extended to support others, and that the backend is powered by Mojolicious with a Svelte frontend. How much is retained depends on Convos and IRC network settings, and this page does not promise a retention period. Check a test channel before relying on it.

A running 8.07 instance stays put when the catalog changes; adopting a newer template version is your choice. Back up convos_data first, read the upstream release notes and any migration guidance, then move without deleting or renaming the volume.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
