Is Dolibarr free?

Yes — it is free and open source under the GPL-3.0 licence. What you pay xCloud for is the dedicated server it runs on and the management around it, not the application itself.

Can I self-host Dolibarr?

Yes — that is exactly what this template deploys. It brings up the official Dolibarr 23.0.3 image alongside MariaDB 11.8.8, both pinned by immutable digest, completes the database bootstrap, mounts its three persistent volumes, and publishes it over HTTPS on your domain in about five minutes instead of assembled by hand.

What does xCloud configure automatically?

The Dolibarr URL, a generated administrator password, the private MariaDB service and its automatic schema bootstrap, all three persistent volumes, the domain and the HTTPS route. Only the Dolibarr web interface is published through xCloud-managed HTTPS — MariaDB stays private.

Is there an administrator account?

Yes. The administrator username is fixed as admin — there is no username field to choose at deploy time. xCloud generates the password during installation and shows it once in your xCloud credential panel.

What should I back up?

All three declared volumes together: dolibarr_documents, dolibarr_custom and dolibarr_db. The documents volume holds uploaded files, the custom volume holds any installed modules, and dolibarr_db holds the MariaDB database itself. Keep off-server copies you have actually test-restored.

Backups in xCloud

Does xCloud automatically back up or update Dolibarr?

No. The template pins Dolibarr 23.0.3 by immutable digest; a catalog re-sync affects new installations only. Test restore procedures and review upstream release notes before changing the pinned application or database versions.

What are the server requirements?

The template manifest asks for 2048 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 10 GB of disk as a floor. This page sells the 6 GB tier, comfortable headroom above that floor for MariaDB running alongside the application.

What survives a restart?

Everything on dolibarr_documents, dolibarr_custom and dolibarr_db, because all three are persistent named volumes. Restarting the containers does not touch your customer records, invoices, documents or installed modules.

Is xCloud officially partnered with Dolibarr?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Dolibarr project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Dolibarr project.

Can I run other apps on the same server?

Yes. It is a dedicated Cloud VPS, not a locked appliance, so you can deploy other OneClick apps or your own sites beside it as long as the resources are there.

Is this a multi-company, multi-tenant deployment?

No — this template deploys a single Dolibarr instance with one automatically bootstrapped database. Dolibarr itself supports multi-company configuration within that one instance, which is the same capability you'd get self-hosting it any other way.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
