Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick ERPNext from the OneClick catalog. Choose your site title, domain and target server — the database root password and Administrator password are generated automatically, with no other fields to fill in.

We bring up the official ERPNext 16.34.1 image across backend, frontend, websocket, two queue-worker and scheduler services, alongside a private MariaDB 11.8 database and two private Redis 8.6 instances — all pinned by immutable digest — mount the erpnext_db, erpnext_sites, erpnext_logs and erpnext_redis_queue volumes, generate the Administrator and database credentials, and publish the frontend over HTTPS on your domain.

Open the generated HTTPS URL and sign in as Administrator with the password shown by xCloud. Complete ERPNext's setup wizard for language, country, time zone, currency, company and chart of accounts, then create a representative record and confirm it survives an xCloud restart.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. The login username is always Administrator; xCloud generates a 32-character password at install time, shown once in your Credentials panel alongside the Site URL. Open that URL and sign in with those credentials, then run ERPNext's own setup wizard.
A private MariaDB database and generated root password, two private Redis instances (one cache, one for background jobs), the Administrator account, background workers, a scheduler, a websocket service, the domain and the HTTPS route. Only the frontend service is published — every other service stays private to the internal network.
redis-cache handles application caching and is deliberately non-persistent — it runs with append-only mode off and has no volume. redis-queue backs background job and queue state for the scheduler and workers, runs with append-only mode on, and persists to its own erpnext_redis_queue volume. They are not interchangeable and not both durable.
The generated password only initializes the account on first boot — editing ADMIN_PASSWORD in the Environment editor afterward does not rotate the live account. Use ERPNext's own user settings, or run bench --site <domain> set-admin-password NEW_PASSWORD inside the backend container.
MariaDB (erpnext_db) and the erpnext_sites volume together, as one coordinated set — the sites volume holds site configuration, encryption material, public and private files, and generated assets, none of which is recoverable without the matching database. ERPNext's own supported command is bench --site <site> backup --with-files --compress; retain the resulting files off-server and test a restore. erpnext_logs and erpnext_redis_queue are operationally useful but do not replace that coordinated backup.
No. The template pins ERPNext, MariaDB and Redis by immutable digest; a catalog re-sync affects new installations only. Before changing the ERPNext pin, take a verified coordinated backup, review ERPNext and Frappe release notes, run bench --site <site> migrate, and validate login, representative records, background workers, the scheduler, websocket behavior and HTTPS. Downgrades require restoring a compatible pre-upgrade backup — there is no supported rollback path.
The template manifest asks for 4 GB of RAM, two CPU cores and 20 GB of disk as a floor for eight coordinated services — MariaDB, two Redis instances, the app server, frontend, websocket, two worker pools and a scheduler. This page sells the 16 GB tier rather than the 6 GB entry plan sold elsewhere on this site, because that floor doesn't fit comfortably under it.
Yes. No SMTP is configured or required for installation or core local ERP use. Configure a customer-owned email account inside ERPNext afterward, only if you need outbound email for notifications or documents.
Everything on erpnext_db, erpnext_sites, erpnext_logs and erpnext_redis_queue, because all four are persistent named volumes. Restarting the containers does not touch your business records, files, configuration or queued jobs — except redis-cache, which is deliberately non-persistent by design.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and Frappe has been verified, and the template's own documentation explicitly disclaims one. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source ERPNext project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
