From Sign-Up to Streaming In Just 3 Easy Steps

Self-hosting a media server usually means Docker, a reverse proxy and a certificate before you watch anything. This is the same result without any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick Jellyfin from the OneClick catalog. Takes 30 seconds — no server to prepare.

  2. Step 02

We Deploy It On Your Domain

One click. We provision the server, bring Jellyfin up on your own domain and issue the SSL certificate, so remote playback works from the start.

  3. Step 03

    Add Your Libraries

Point Jellyfin at your media folders, let it fetch artwork and metadata, then sign in from a browser, phone, tablet or TV app.

Not Just A File Share — A Real Media Server With No Subscription

Jellyfin does what the paid media servers do, without the account, the tiering or the phone-home.

  • Movies, TV, Music & Photos

One library for everything, with artwork, metadata, seasons and episodes organised automatically.

  • Plays On Everything

Web browser, iOS and Android, Android TV, Roku, Fire TV, Kodi and more — the clients are open source too.

  • Live TV & DVR

Attach a tuner and Jellyfin handles live TV and scheduled recording alongside the rest of your library.

  • Users & Parental Controls

Give everyone their own profile, watch state and access rules, with age ratings enforced per user.

  • Transcoding On Demand

Streams are converted on the fly when a device cannot play the original file, including hardware acceleration where available.

  • No Premium Gate

Every feature is in the free software. There is no unlock, no pass and no account with the vendor, because there is no vendor.

Everything You Need To Run Your Media Server 24/7

The parts that turn a media folder into something the whole household can rely on.

  • Jellyfin deployed instantly
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Automatic backups
  • Security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unlimited users and libraries
  • Unused balance refunded

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!

I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.

I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

I had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

What is Jellyfin?

Jellyfin is a free, open-source media server. It organises your movies, TV, music, photos and live TV and streams them to web, mobile and TV clients. It is licensed GPL-2.0 and has no subscription, no premium tier and no feature locked behind a paid pass — which is the main thing that separates it from Plex and Emby.

Can you self-host Jellyfin?

Yes, that is the only way it runs — there is no Jellyfin cloud. Self-hosting normally means Docker, a reverse proxy and a certificate before anything plays outside your house. On xCloud it is a OneClick deploy: the server, the domain and the SSL are provisioned for you in about five minutes.

How is this different from Plex?

Plex is a company's product with a free tier and a paid Plex Pass; some features, including hardware transcoding on mobile, sit behind it. Jellyfin is a community project with everything included and nothing reporting back. The trade is that Plex's polish and its client apps are more mature, and no honest page should pretend otherwise.

Will it handle transcoding?

For direct play, which is most of what a modern client does, the server barely works at all. Transcoding is different: converting a stream in real time is CPU work, and several at once on a 4K library will outgrow any small server. This plan is a sensible starting point rather than a transcoding farm, and you can move up a size if you need to.

What are the server requirements?

The xCloud template asks for 2 GB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 20 GB of disk as a floor. This page sells the 6 GB tier, which leaves real headroom above that for libraries, metadata and the occasional transcode. Media files themselves are the thing most likely to need more disk.

Is it legal?

Jellyfin is free software and running it is entirely legal. What you put in your library is your responsibility — the software neither provides nor sources content, and xCloud's terms apply to what you host the same way they do for any other app.

Can I use the mobile and TV apps?

Yes. Official and community clients exist for iOS, Android, Android TV, Fire TV, Roku, Kodi and the web. Point any of them at your server's domain and sign in.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
