What is LubeLogger?
LubeLogger is an MIT-licensed, self-hosted vehicle maintenance and fuel mileage tracker. Upstream's reason for it is that nobody should deal with a homemade spreadsheet or a shoebox of receipts. Self-hosted LubeLogger keeps service records, repairs, upgrades, fuel, odometer history, reminders, expenses, notes and attached documents in one web app, as a private alternative to hosted trackers such as Drivvo and AUTOsist.
On xCloud the template deploys the official LubeLogger v1.7.0 image as one container with built-in LiteDB storage, so there is no separate database. Your records, settings, images and documents live on the lubelogger_data volume, and the ASP.NET data-protection keys on lubelogger_keys. Authentication is on from first boot with an environment-backed administrator, and public registration is disabled until you decide otherwise.
From Sign-Up to a Live LubeLogger In Just 3 Easy Steps
A LubeLogger server normally means a container, data and key volumes, an administrator setup, a domain and a certificate before the first service record. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Sign Up
Create your xCloud account and pick LubeLogger from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and server, then set the administrator username; the password is generated for you.
Step 02
We Deploy It For You
One click. We start ghcr.io/hargata/lubelogger v1.7.0, pinned by digest, mount lubelogger_data and lubelogger_keys, switch authentication on, leave registration disabled and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Log Your First Service
Sign in with the credentials shown after install, add a vehicle, then record a service or repair and confirm it appears in that vehicle's history before you enter real records.
Everything LubeLogger Does, On Your Own Server
The features upstream documents run here, with your vehicle records and documents stored on volumes you control.
Service And Repair Records
Log maintenance, repairs and upgrades against each vehicle, building a history you can check before a service or when you sell.
Fuel And Odometer History
Record fuel fill-ups and odometer readings to keep a running view of mileage and fuel use for every vehicle you add.
Reminders
Keep reminders for upcoming maintenance inside the app. Mail, OIDC and webhooks are not preconfigured, so configure delivery yourself if you want it.
Expenses, Notes And Documents
Attach receipts and documents, add notes and track expenses with each record. Browser uploads through xCloud's nginx are limited to 100 MB per request.
Multi-Vehicle Dashboard
Add several vehicles and move between them from one dashboard, rather than keeping one spreadsheet per car.
Locked-Down By Default
Authentication is active and public registration is disabled from the first boot. Adding another user means temporarily enabling registration and issuing an invitation.

What You Can Do With LubeLogger
Keep a complete service history for each car
A car owner logs every oil change, repair and upgrade with its receipt, so the whole history is ready to show a mechanic or a buyer.
Track fuel and mileage across a household
A family records fill-ups and odometer readings for each vehicle and compares them over time, instead of piecing it together from receipts.
Run a small fleet's maintenance log
A small business adds its vans or trucks as separate vehicles, records services against each one and keeps the documents together in one place.
Drop the spreadsheet and the shoebox
Someone tired of a homemade maintenance spreadsheet moves the records to a private web app they host, with reminders kept inside it.
LubeLogger vs Alternatives
- Drivvo
- A hosted vehicle tracking app. LubeLogger on xCloud keeps service records, fuel history and documents on your own lubelogger_data volume, with an administrator login you control.
- AUTOsist
- A hosted fleet and vehicle maintenance service. LubeLogger covers service records, reminders, expenses and documents in a self-hosted app on a server you rent monthly.
- Hammond
- Another self-hosted vehicle tracker. Compare its features with LubeLogger's service records, reminders and document attachments using its own documentation before choosing.
- Fuelly
- A fuel and vehicle tracking tool. LubeLogger keeps fuel and odometer history next to service records, expenses and documents, on your own domain; read Fuelly's own documentation to compare.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.
xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Blaine MooreFrequently Asked Questions
Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
Is LubeLogger free?
Yes. LubeLogger is open source under the MIT licence, so there is no licence fee for LubeLogger; the monthly cost is the Cloud VPS. Upstream asks for voluntary support through its funding page, but nothing in this template requires payment to the project.
How do I self-host LubeLogger with Docker?
The template does it for you. It runs the official LubeLogger v1.7.0 image under Docker Compose with built-in LiteDB storage, mounts lubelogger_data and lubelogger_keys, and adds your domain and HTTPS. LubeLogger Docker hosting here means no Compose file and no reverse proxy to write.
Can LubeLogger track multiple vehicles?
Yes. The template's description lists multi-vehicle dashboards: you add each car, van or bike as its own vehicle and keep its service records, fuel history, expenses and documents separate. Storage grows with attached files and images.
Does LubeLogger send maintenance reminders?
It keeps reminders for upcoming maintenance inside the app. This template does not preconfigure SMTP, OIDC, webhooks or notification services, so no push or email delivery is promised here. Review reminder settings first, and set up mail yourself later if you need messages sent outside the app.
Can I import data into LubeLogger?
This page does not claim an import path. The sources it relies on describe entering service records, repairs, fuel and documents, and do not document importing from other trackers or spreadsheets. Check LubeLogger's own documentation for the pinned v1.7.0 release if you have existing records to bring over.
Does LubeLogger have a mobile app?
Upstream distributes LubeLogger as a Docker image and a Windows executable, and this template serves the web interface. This page does not claim a native mobile app. You open your HTTPS address in a phone browser instead. Browser uploads through xCloud's nginx are limited to 100 MB per request.
How do I back up LubeLogger?
Back up both volumes together: lubelogger_data holds the LiteDB records, settings, images and documents, and lubelogger_keys holds the ASP.NET data-protection keys. Stop or quiesce the container, copy both off the server, then test a restore, because restoring only the data volume can invalidate sessions.
How do I update LubeLogger?
There is no automatic update. The template pins LubeLogger 1.7.0 by tag and digest. Back up both volumes, read the upstream release notes, then change the app version, image tag and digest together and validate the result, ideally on a fresh instance with a restored backup first.
How do I add another user to LubeLogger?
Registration is disabled. Set DisableRegistration=false in the Environment editor and redeploy, sign in as the root administrator to generate an invitation token, let the person register, then restore DisableRegistration=true and redeploy. Do not leave registration open longer than needed.
Is there a LubeLogger cloud account I need?
No. Nothing here depends on a hosted LubeLogger account. The tracker runs on your own Cloud VPS, your records and documents sit on its lubelogger_data volume, and you sign in with the administrator credentials created at install. Vehicle documents can be personal, so keep access tight.
What are the server requirements?
For LubeLogger the manifest sets 512 MB of memory, one CPU core and 2 GB of storage. The 6 GB tier sold here leaves so much spare capacity that the same server can host other OneClick apps too. xCloud and the LubeLogger project have no partnership.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
