Bracket hosting for organisers who want to run swiss, single-elimination and round-robin events on their own server. Deploy Bracket v2.2.5, a self-hosted tournament management system, and xCloud adds PostgreSQL, HTTPS and the first admin login. It is tournament bracket software, self-hosted, with drag-and-drop court scheduling and public dashboards that spectators open without an account, all kept on persistent volumes on your own Cloud VPS.
Self-hosted Bracket is a tournament management system. Its README describes a tournament system written in async Python with FastAPI and a Next.js frontend, supporting single-elimination, round-robin and swiss formats, multi-stage tournaments, drag-and-drop court scheduling, public dashboards with a custom logo, teams with players, and multiple clubs. It stands in for hosted tournament software when you want the schedule and results on your own server.
On xCloud the template runs the v2.2.5 backend and frontend images, PostgreSQL 17 and an nginx proxy, each pinned by immutable digest. The bracket_db and bracket_static volumes persist your tournaments and uploaded logos, and HTTPS is published on your domain. The first account is seeded from the administrator email you enter plus a generated password, public sign-up is off, and no email is sent.
Self-hosting Bracket normally means wiring up PostgreSQL, the backend, the frontend and a reverse proxy by hand before you can schedule a single match. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Bracket from the OneClick catalog. Enter the administrator email for the first Bracket account — xCloud generates the password.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned Bracket v2.2.5 backend and frontend images alongside PostgreSQL 17 and an nginx proxy, create the database and your account, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Sign in with the administrator email and the generated password shown in your credentials panel. Create a club, then a tournament, add teams and stages, and share the public dashboard link.
Bracket runs in full here — a self-hosted tournament system, on infrastructure you control.
Supports single-elimination, round-robin and swiss formats, with multiple stages and groups per tournament.
Drag matches onto courts or move them to a different start time; swiss rounds can be scheduled automatically.
Customisable public dashboard pages with your own logo, viewable by anyone with the link — no account required to watch.
Run multiple clubs, each with its own tournaments, teams and players, from one instance.
The first account is created from the administrator email you enter and a generated password, on first start only.
bracket_db holds users, clubs, tournaments, teams and matches; bracket_static holds uploaded logos — both survive an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for Bracket, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Set up a club, then build a tournament from stages and groups, adding teams and players. One instance can hold multiple clubs, each with its own tournaments, so a sports club can run its seasons from one server.
On tournament day, an organiser drags matches onto courts or moves them to a later start time as games run over, and swiss rounds can schedule their matches automatically instead of by hand.
Share a tournament's public dashboard link so players and spectators can follow the draw and results without an account, with your own logo on the page and the admin login kept private.
Users, clubs, teams and match results sit in a PostgreSQL database on your own Cloud VPS, so past events stay in your hands rather than in a hosted tournament service's account.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

The template manifest asks for 512 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 5 GB of disk as a floor. Measured idle use on the reviewed build was about 276 MiB across all four containers. This page sells the 6 GB tier, which leaves ample headroom for tournament-day traffic.
Yes. Bracket is licensed under the AGPL-3.0, per the LICENSE file at the v2.2.5 tag, so there is no licence fee. What you pay xCloud for is the dedicated Cloud VPS the stack runs on; your clubs, tournaments and uploaded logos stay in your own volumes.
Per its README, Bracket supports single-elimination, round-robin and swiss formats. You can build a tournament from several stages, each with multiple groups or brackets, and swiss tournaments can be handled dynamically with automatic scheduling of matches.
Yes, and this is Bracket Docker hosting without the wiring. The template runs four pinned containers: the v2.2.5 backend and frontend images, PostgreSQL 17 and an nginx proxy, with the bracket_db and bracket_static volumes and HTTPS on your domain.
Yes. Bracket offers dashboard pages that can be presented to the public, customised with a logo. Anyone with a tournament's public dashboard link can view it without logging in, and everything else on the site requires the administrator login.
Yes. Per its README you can drag and drop matches onto different courts or reschedule them to another start time, and swiss tournaments can have matches scheduled automatically. Court scheduling is part of Bracket itself, so this template adds nothing to configure.
No. Bracket sends no email from this install, so there is no password-reset mail. The first account is seeded once from the administrator email you enter and a generated password; change that password inside Bracket, because editing the environment values later does nothing.
A backup needs both volumes together: bracket_db holds users, clubs, tournaments, teams and matches, and bracket_static holds uploaded logos. Take a PostgreSQL dump or briefly stop the app before a volume snapshot, and test a restore well before tournament day.
Nothing upgrades it for you: the backend and frontend images are pinned at v2.2.5 by immutable digest. Copy bracket_db and bracket_static, review the upstream release notes, and then adopt a newer template version or raise both image tags and digests together.
It is your own Bracket on a dedicated Cloud VPS that xCloud provisions, not a shared tournament service. The PostgreSQL database, the uploaded logos and the administrator account belong to your install, and the site is served over HTTPS on your domain.
Not by default: public sign-up is off. You can turn registration on by setting ALLOW_USER_REGISTRATION=true in the Environment editor, but anyone who can then reach the site can create clubs and tournaments and upload logos, so leave it off on a public site.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Your clubs, your tournaments, your server — live in a couple of minutes. Schedule your first match today.
