PrestaShop Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Deploy PrestaShop hosting and run your own online store on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned PrestaShop 9.2.0 image with a private MySQL 8.4 database, installs the shop unattended using the administrator email, language and country you choose, generates the administrator password and a hidden back office address, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the storefront over HTTPS.

What is PrestaShop?

PrestaShop is an open-source e-commerce platform for building and running online stores. You manage the catalog, checkout, shipping and payment settings from its back office, and extend the shop with modules and themes.

This template runs PrestaShop 9.2.0 (Apache) with a private MySQL 8.4 database. The core is licensed under OSL-3.0 and bundled modules under AFL-3.0.

From Sign-Up to a Live Store In Just 3 Easy Steps

A PrestaShop stack normally means a web container, a database, an installer run, a hidden admin folder, a domain and a certificate before the first product. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick PrestaShop from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain, then enter the administrator email, the shop language and the two-letter shop country code.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the official PrestaShop 9.2.0 Apache image, pinned by immutable digest, with a private MySQL 8.4 database that has no host ports, mount the prestashop_html and prestashop_db volumes, generate the administrator password and publish the shop over HTTPS. The first start takes a few minutes while it installs the shop and its sample data.

  3. Step 03

Sign In To The Back Office

Save the administrator password and the back office URL from the protected installation credentials — it is a randomly named folder, not /admin. Sign in, change the password, and delete the sample products before you open to customers.

Everything PrestaShop Does, On Your Own Server

PrestaShop runs in full here: a storefront and back office on your own domain, backed by a database you own.

  • Catalog, Checkout And Shipping

Build your catalog and manage checkout, shipping and payment settings from the PrestaShop back office.

  • Unattended Install

Language and country are chosen in the install form, so currency, taxes and time zone start with sensible defaults.

  • Hidden Back Office Address

The back office lives in a randomly named folder rather than /admin, and the address is shown in your installation credentials.

  • Private MySQL Included

A dedicated MySQL 8.4 database runs alongside the shop and is not exposed publicly.

  • Shop Address Follows Your Domain

After a domain change the shop address is updated the next time the containers start.

  • Data That Survives A Restart

Products, shop files and the database are held on named volumes and were still present after an xCloud Restart in QA.

Everything You Need To Run Your Online Store 24/7

Managed hosting for PrestaShop, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.

  • PrestaShop 9.2.0 deployed instantly
  • Official image pinned by digest
  • Administrator password generated for you
  • Private MySQL 8.4 database
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Server backups and snapshots
  • Server security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unused balance refunded

What You Can Do With PrestaShop

  • Launch a self-hosted online store

Stand up a shop with a catalog, checkout and shipping and payment settings on your own domain and server.

  • Run client shops as an agency

Give each client a store on its own server, with the shop files and database kept on separate named volumes.

  • Start with the right currency and taxes

Choose language and country at install time so currency, taxes and time zone start in line with the market you sell to.

  • Keep store data under your control

Products, shop files and the MySQL database stay on a server you own rather than a hosted store platform.

Hear what people are saying about us

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian Geovanny
I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin Pineda
I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

How do I sign in?

Use the back office URL, administrator email and password from the installation credentials. The back office is in a randomly named folder, not at /admin.

Why does the site show an error right after install?

The first start runs the installer and loads sample data, which takes several minutes; the shop answers once it finishes. Do not restart the site during this time.

What runs alongside PrestaShop?

A private MySQL 8.4 database with no host ports, reachable only inside the install's private network.

What should I do after the first sign-in?

Change the administrator password in the back office and delete the sample products before you open the shop to customers.

Is email set up?

No. Mail is not configured out of the box; set it up in the back office under Advanced Parameters, E-mail.

Is there an upload limit?

Yes. Uploads are limited to 20 MB by the image's PHP settings.

What should I back up?

Both volumes together: prestashop_html (shop files, modules, themes and images) and prestashop_db (the database). You can also dump the database with mysqldump. Keep the generated values stable.

What happens if I change the domain?

The shop address follows the site domain and is updated the next time the containers start. Always use the same domain for the shop and the back office.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update PrestaShop?

No. The template pins PrestaShop 9.2.0 by immutable digest, and application code lives in the shop volume, so a newer image does not update an existing install. Back up first, read the upstream release notes and follow PrestaShop's upgrade guide, then bump the tag and digest together. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.

What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?

The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 1024 MB of RAM and 8 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was roughly 180 MiB for the shop and 480 MiB for MySQL. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.

What survives a restart?

Products, shop files and the database — a product was still listed after an xCloud Restart in QA, because both are persistent named volumes.

Is xCloud officially partnered with PrestaShop?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the PrestaShop project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source PrestaShop project.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
