Deploy Swetrix hosting and run cookieless, privacy-friendly web analytics on your own server. xCloud runs the pinned Swetrix v5.4.1 Community Edition with ClickHouse for storage, Redis for cache and queues and a gateway that serves the dashboard and the tracker API on one domain, generates the internal secrets and publishes it over HTTPS. Register first, because the first account becomes the owner.
Swetrix is a cookieless, privacy-first, open-source web analytics platform that upstream pitches as a privacy-respecting alternative to Google Analytics. It offers traffic stats, geolocation, custom events, sessions and funnels, performance monitoring and error tracking, with public or password-protected dashboards. Self-hosted Swetrix is the alternative to a hosted analytics service, under the AGPL-3.0 licence, and this template deploys the Community Edition.
On xCloud it is Swetrix v5.4.1 with ClickHouse 25.8 and Redis 8.6, pinned by digest, on the swetrix_clickhouse_data volume. Upstream marks session replays, network intelligence and Ask AI as Cloud features, so they are not here. The first sign-up becomes the owner and registration then closes. Sending events is public by design, while only signed-in users can read analytics, and teammates are invited by reopening registration briefly.
Self-hosting cookieless analytics normally means a gateway, ClickHouse, Redis and a race to claim the first account before anyone else does. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account, pick Swetrix from the OneClick catalog, and choose a domain. There are no extra fields — xCloud generates the signing secret, ClickHouse password and Redis password.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned Swetrix v5.4.1 Community Edition images with ClickHouse and Redis wired automatically, and publish the dashboard and tracker API over one HTTPS gateway. The first start pulls about 1.5 GB of images and creates the analytics schema, up to 5 minutes.
Step 03
Open the HTTPS Swetrix URL and register your account immediately — the first registration becomes the owner and closes sign-up. Create a project and add the tracking script, pointing it at the Tracker API URL.
Swetrix Community Edition runs here — cookieless traffic, funnel and performance analytics, on infrastructure you control.
Replace a hosted analytics service with a self-hosted, cookieless, GDPR-oriented alternative that tracks top pages, geolocation, devices, traffic sources and UTM campaigns.
Measure conversions with custom events, sessions and funnels in the real-time dashboard.
Monitor real-user performance and capture client-side errors alongside traffic, in the same dashboard.
One HTTPS origin serves both the dashboard and the tracker API at /backend/, so the tracking snippet needs a single domain.
The first account becomes the owner and registration then closes; reading analytics needs a signed-in user, while collecting events stays public by design.
Your users, projects and all analytics events on the ClickHouse volume survived an xCloud Restart in verification, with the account, project and both test events intact.
Managed hosting for Swetrix, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Use a lightweight script that sets no cookies and anonymises data; upstream says it needs no consent banner, but check consent rules for your jurisdiction.
Build funnels and review sessions and user flows to see which step loses people.
Capture client-side errors and real-user performance timings in the same dashboard as your traffic.
Store events in ClickHouse on your server, and export to CSV or read it through the developer API.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. Upstream documents self-hosting with Docker, and this template is Swetrix Docker hosting already assembled: the web, API, ClickHouse, Redis and gateway containers pinned by digest, one data volume and HTTPS. It is your own Swetrix cloud analytics, though it downloads about 1.5 GB at first start.
Swetrix requires 2048 MB of memory, 2 cores and 20 GB of storage; idle use on QA was about 0.8 GiB after restart. The starting point here is the 6 GB plan, with headroom for what the app itself needs.
The Community Edition is AGPL-3.0 software with no fee, provided legal notices are preserved and source is offered for modified deployed versions. xCloud bills the Cloud VPS, which you can cancel whenever you wish. Events and users stay in ClickHouse on your own server.
There is no default account. Open the site URL and register; the first account becomes the owner and sign-up then closes, which QA verified by a refused second registration. Register right away, because until then anyone who can reach the address could claim the instance.
Yes, by design: anyone who knows a project ID and your Tracker API URL can send page views to it. Only signed-in users can read the analytics, so the data is not exposed. Do not treat event counts as authenticated, and filter obvious spam.
No. Do not put Basic Auth on the whole domain, because it would block the tracker: the dashboard and the tracker API share one HTTPS origin. Restrict access to the dashboard by keeping registration closed, and invite teammates deliberately.
No. Upstream marks some features, such as session replays, network intelligence and Ask AI, as Cloud features. The Community Edition ships the core analytics, events, sessions, funnels, performance and error tracking. Check upstream's list before you depend on a specific feature.
They only work after you add SMTP_HOST and SMTP_PORT in the Environment editor and redeploy. To invite teammates, set DISABLE_REGISTRATION to false, redeploy, let them register, then set it back to true so strangers cannot create accounts.
Back up the swetrix_clickhouse_data volume, which holds all users, projects and events, together with the stable environment values. Stop the stack first for a consistent copy, or use ClickHouse's own backup tooling, and test a restore on a spare server.
The install stays on pinned v5.4.1 until you adopt a newer template version. Back up ClickHouse, read the Swetrix release notes, then redeploy, sign in and open a project. Existing sites are never upgraded automatically.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
