Deploy Dremio hosting and run a self-hosted data lakehouse query engine that runs SQL over files and external databases from a web UI, JDBC and ODBC, or Arrow Flight, on your own domain. xCloud starts the pinned single-node image, creates the administrator from the details you enter with a generated password, keeps the metadata store on a persistent volume and publishes the UI over HTTPS. The client ports are unencrypted.
Dremio is an open-source data lakehouse query engine, released under the Apache-2.0 licence. The template presents it as running fast SQL over files and external databases from a web UI, with JDBC, ODBC and Arrow Flight endpoints for BI tools and notebooks. Self-hosted Dremio is that query engine running on a server you control, so you query your data without a hosted warehouse.
On xCloud the template runs dremio/dremio-oss 26.0.5, pinned by digest, as a single node with one persistent volume, dremio_data, holding the metadata store, query results and uploaded files. The web UI uses HTTPS on your domain, while the JDBC/ODBC and Arrow Flight ports are published as unencrypted TCP that you must firewall. Dremio Community has no per-user SQL roles. The first start takes roughly three to five minutes.
A self-hosted lakehouse engine normally means an image, a JVM memory budget, a first administrator, a volume, a domain and a certificate before the first query. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Dremio from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain, then enter an Admin Username (default admin) and an Admin Email.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the upstream Dremio image, pinned by immutable digest, as a single container with coordinator and executor in one JVM, mount the dremio_data volume, generate the administrator password, and publish the UI over HTTPS on your domain. The first start takes about 3 to 5 minutes.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS Dremio URL and sign in with the username and the password from the protected installation credentials. Add a source or create a space, then run your first SQL query.
Dremio runs in full here: a SQL query engine over your files and databases, reachable from the browser and from the tools your analysts already use.
Dremio runs SQL directly over files and external databases from its web UI, rather than storing your data in a warehouse of its own.
BI tools and notebooks connect over JDBC/ODBC or Arrow Flight on ports allocated to your install. Both carry the password and results without TLS.
The first administrator is created for you from your username, email and a generated password, so the sign-in page does not offer an open create-first-user form.
Spaces, queries and the embedded metadata store live in the dremio_data volume. In QA a created space was still present after an xCloud Restart.
Web uploads of several hundred MB are accepted through the proxy (up to 500 MB).
Coordinator and executor share one JVM with an embedded metadata store, so there are no extra services to operate.
Managed hosting for Dremio, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Point Dremio at cloud storage or files and run SQL over them from the web UI, instead of building a pipeline into a warehouse.
Connect external databases as sources and write one SQL query across them, with the result available in the UI or to your BI tool.
Connect over JDBC, ODBC or Arrow Flight from an analytics tool, with the client ports restricted to the addresses that need them.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Dremio is used to query data where it already lives. You connect files and external databases as sources, write SQL in the web UI or from a BI tool or notebook, and Dremio runs the query across them. It suits analysts who want a lakehouse query layer without moving all data into one warehouse first.
Yes. Dremio OSS, the Community edition this template runs, is open source under Apache-2.0, so the engine has no licence fee. The xCloud price is the Cloud VPS under it plus the deployment. Sources you connect, such as cloud storage or databases, are billed by their own providers.
Yes. For Dremio Docker hosting the template runs the upstream dremio/dremio-oss 26.0.5 image, pinned by digest, as a single node with a persistent volume and HTTPS on your domain. A background step creates the administrator from the generated credentials, so the first visitor cannot claim the instance.
Dremio's manifest floor is 6144 MB of RAM, two cores and 20 GB of disk. The engine is set to use at least 4096 MB, because Dremio's own defaults ask for about 12 GB and would be killed on a small server. That is why this page sells the 16 GB Cloud VPS and not the 6 GB tier.
Use the host and the allocated JDBC port shown in your credentials, for example a jdbc:dremio:direct URL with the server address and that port. The port is published on the server's public address as plain TCP. xCloud opens no firewall, so allow only the client addresses that need it.
No. Both client ports are unencrypted TCP, so credentials and query results cross the network in clear text unless you add your own protection such as a VPN. The web UI and REST API use HTTPS through the platform. Restrict the two ports in your firewall to trusted client addresses.
Not per-user SQL roles beyond the administrator flag. Any account can create sources and query whatever those sources expose, so create accounts only for people who should see all connected data. Email and single sign-on settings are configured in the UI or the Dremio configuration file, not through environment variables.
Everything lives in the dremio_data volume, which holds the metadata store, query results and uploaded files. Stop the site before copying it so the embedded store is consistent. The platform does not back up template volumes by itself, so take your own copies, keep them off-server and test a restore.
Dremio 26.0.5 stays fixed by digest, so a catalog change leaves a running site alone. Back up dremio_data, read the Dremio release notes, and select a later template version. Upstream publishes no git tags for this release line, so the tag and digest come from Docker Hub.
No. This template is a single node. It does not provide a multi-node or clustered deployment, so very large workloads outgrow it. Size the Cloud VPS for the data you query, and keep in mind that upload through the web UI is streamed with a 500 MB proxy limit.
Yes. Dremio cloud use starts from a dedicated Cloud VPS with your domain and certificate attached. Rented hardware elsewhere can be attached as self-managed. Allow three to five minutes for the first start while the metadata store initialises, and remember the two client ports need your firewall.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
