Casdoor Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

A private, self-hosted identity and access management platform for putting one login in front of many applications — OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP and SCIM, all under a domain you control. xCloud configures the pinned container, a private PostgreSQL database and the HTTPS reverse proxy, and replaces Casdoor's insecure default administrator password before the site ever goes public.

From Sign-Up to a Live Casdoor In Just 3 Easy Steps

Self-hosting Casdoor normally means a container, a PostgreSQL database, closing off an insecure default admin password, a domain and a certificate before a single application can authenticate against it. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick Casdoor from the OneClick catalog. Choose your site and a temporary or production domain.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the pinned Casdoor 3.154.3 image with a private PostgreSQL database, generate a strong administrator password and replace Casdoor's default credential with it before the gateway serves publicly, then publish it over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

Sign In And Configure Your First App

Open your HTTPS URL and sign in to organization built-in as admin with the generated password shown in your xCloud credential panel. Create a named administrator, then configure your first application's redirect URLs and protocol.

Everything Casdoor Does, On Your Own Server

Casdoor runs in full here — the same authentication and access-management workflow as any hosted identity provider, on infrastructure you control.

  • Single Sign-On

Put one login in front of every application you connect, instead of each one running its own authentication.

  • OAuth 2.0 And OpenID Connect

Issue standards-based tokens and identity claims that any OAuth or OIDC-compatible application can consume.

  • SAML, LDAP And SCIM

Integrate with SAML service providers, LDAP directories and SCIM-based provisioning where your applications need them.

  • MFA And WebAuthn

Add multi-factor authentication and WebAuthn/passkey sign-in on top of standard credentials for stronger account security.

  • Organizations And Applications

Manage users, organizations and connected applications from one console, each with its own configuration and access rules.

  • Your Own PostgreSQL Database

Users, organizations, applications, providers and signing material live in a PostgreSQL database private to your server, not a shared multi-tenant one.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!

I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

What is Casdoor?

Casdoor is a free, open-source identity and access management platform for centralized authentication, single sign-on and application access control, supporting OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, SCIM, MFA and WebAuthn. This template deploys version 3.154.3.

Is Casdoor free?

Yes — it is free and open source under the Apache-2.0 licence. What you pay xCloud for is the dedicated server it runs on and the management around it, not the application itself.

Can I self-host Casdoor?

Yes — that is exactly what this template deploys. It brings up the pinned Casdoor 3.154.3 container with its own PostgreSQL database, and publishes it over HTTPS on your domain in about five minutes instead of assembled by hand.

Does Casdoor support OAuth, OIDC and SAML?

Yes. Casdoor supports OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect out of the box, plus SAML, LDAP and SCIM integrations for applications and directories that need them.

How do I sign in for the first time?

Open your Casdoor HTTPS URL and sign in with organization built-in, username admin, and the generated password shown in your xCloud credential panel. From there, create a named administrator account for routine day-to-day management.

Is admin/123 still active on my installation?

No. Casdoor's upstream image ships organization built-in, username admin, with the default password 123. Before the public gateway ever serves traffic, a private bootstrap process transactionally replaces that default with a generated 32-character password, and refuses to start unless it succeeds.

What happens if I change the administrator password inside Casdoor?

That change is authoritative. A later Restart or Redeploy detects that the account no longer matches the installation password and preserves your in-application rotation — it never reverts to the originally generated password.

What does xCloud configure automatically?

Generated PostgreSQL credentials, a generated administrator password installed in place of Casdoor's insecure default, the Casdoor URL, the private container network, the persistent volume, the domain and the HTTPS route. PostgreSQL has no host port, so it is never directly exposed to the internet.

How do I rotate PostgreSQL credentials?

Change the database role first, then update both DB_PASSWORD and POSTGRES_PASSWORD together in the Environment editor before redeploying. Updating only the environment values does not alter the existing PostgreSQL role.

What are the server requirements?

The template manifest asks for 2048 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 10 GB of disk as a floor. This page sells the 6 GB tier at that same floor, with headroom driven by login rate, directory size and how many identity providers you connect.

What should I back up?

The casdoor_db volume, using an application-consistent PostgreSQL backup. It holds organizations, users, password hashes, applications, providers, certificates and other durable identity configuration.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update Casdoor?

No. The template pins Casdoor 3.154.3; a catalog re-sync affects new installations only. Customers should schedule and test their own backups and review upstream release and migration notes before updating.

What survives a restart?

Everything on casdoor_db, because it is a persistent named volume. Restarting the container does not touch your users, organizations, applications or signing material.

Is xCloud officially partnered with Casdoor?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and Casdoor has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Casdoor project.

Can I run other apps on the same server?

Yes. It is a dedicated Cloud VPS, not a locked appliance, so you can deploy other OneClick apps or your own sites beside it as long as the resources are there.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.

Ready to Own Your Identity Platform?

Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
