Deploy Cassandra Reaper hosting and run a self-hosted Cassandra repair scheduler for your Apache Cassandra clusters on a dedicated Cloud VPS. xCloud starts the pinned Reaper 5.0.1 container with a login on the dashboard and REST API, generates the administrator password and JWT secret, keeps its state on a persistent volume and serves it over HTTPS. No Cassandra node is included: you point Reaper at yours.
Cassandra Reaper is a centralized, stateful and highly configurable tool for running Apache Cassandra repairs against single or multi-site clusters. It segments repairs, runs several in parallel on different nodes, supports basic repair scheduling and talks to nodes through JMX, with a web UI, a REST API and a spreaper command-line tool. Run on your own server it is a self-hosted Cassandra Reaper, under the Apache-2.0 licence, for operators who want repairs managed centrally rather than by hand.
On xCloud it is one container, thelastpickle/cassandra-reaper 5.0.1 pinned by digest, with authentication enabled from the first request. The reaper_data volume holds an embedded local database of clusters, schedules and run history. It includes no Cassandra node, the template does not configure a Cassandra storage backend, and the local store suits small deployments.
A Reaper install normally means a Java container, an authentication setup, a signing secret, a state volume, a domain and a certificate before the first cluster is added. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Cassandra Reaper from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain and a server; the install form has no application fields, because xCloud generates the administrator password and JWT secret.
Step 02
One click. We start thelastpickle/cassandra-reaper 5.0.1, pinned by digest, with authentication on from the first request, mount reaper_data at /var/lib/cassandra-reaper and publish HTTPS. The JVM takes about a minute to boot.
Step 03
Open the /webui/ address and sign in as admin. Use Add Cluster with the address of any node. This server must reach every node outbound on JMX port 7199 and CQL port 9042, and JMX credentials go in the Environment editor.
Cassandra Reaper 5.0.1 runs here as a login-protected dashboard, with registered clusters and run history kept on a volume you own.
Run recurring repairs per cluster from one place, a centralised and stateful alternative to starting each repair by hand on each node.
Upstream says Reaper runs repairs in segments and opportunistically runs several in parallel on different nodes of a cluster.
Manage clusters, schedules and runs from the dashboard, or script them through the REST API. Both need the login from the first request.
Reaper talks to Cassandra nodes through JMX and CQL as outbound connections. No inbound port needs opening for them.
Reaper's admin connector on port 8081 has no authentication, so the template never publishes it.
Registered clusters, schedules and run history live in a local database on reaper_data; a Cassandra backend is not configured.
Managed hosting for Cassandra Reaper, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Set up recurring repairs in the dashboard so a cluster is repaired on a schedule, with run history you can review.
Register clusters that span several sites and let Reaper run segmented repairs, given that the server reaches every node.
Add an optional read-only login for people who only need to watch repair progress, keeping administration private.
Start and monitor repairs from your own automation using the authenticated REST API, instead of logging in to each node.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Yes, and this template is Cassandra Reaper Docker hosting without the setup: the thelastpickle/cassandra-reaper 5.0.1 image pinned by digest, one container, the reaper_data volume and an HTTPS route to port 8080. Upstream publishes the image on Docker Hub.
No. Reaper manages clusters you already run, and the template includes no Cassandra node. It starts with no clusters registered; use Add Cluster in the dashboard and give the address of any node of your cluster.
Use Add Cluster with the address of any node. This server must reach every node outbound on JMX port 7199 and CQL port 9042. If JMX authentication is enabled, set the REAPER_JMX_AUTH lines in the Environment editor and redeploy.
JMX on 7199 and CQL on 9042, as outbound connections from the Reaper container to your nodes. No inbound port needs opening for them. Reaper's own admin connector on 8081 has no authentication and is never published.
The JVM heap defaults to 1 GB, so the template asks for at least 1.5 GB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 5 GB of disk. Raise REAPER_HEAP_SIZE and server memory together when managing many clusters or tables. This page sells the 6 GB tier.
Sign in at /webui/ as admin with the generated password. Authentication is on from the first request and there is no sign-up or default password. Change the password by editing REAPER_AUTH_PASSWORD in the Environment editor, and add an optional read-only user.
Yes. Cassandra Reaper is released under the Apache-2.0 licence, so the tool has no licence fee; you pay for the server, not for the software. The Cassandra clusters it manages are separate and have their own costs.
Stop the service, then back up the reaper_data volume, which holds registered clusters, repair schedules and run history in its local database. There is no built-in job for it; schedule one and confirm a restore works. Do not remove the volume on a retained install.
Nothing upgrades itself: 5.0.1 is pinned by digest, so an existing install stays on it until you move it. To move up, back up the reaper_data volume, then adopt a newer template version when one is published; do not edit the image tag or digest yourself. Keep the generated JWT secret unchanged to avoid signing everyone out.
It is Cassandra Reaper on a dedicated Cloud VPS under your xCloud login, a Reaper cloud of your own at your domain. It stores JMX credentials for your clusters and can start repairs on them, so keep the administrator password private.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes, with no plan you have to grow into.
