Compose Craft hosting on xCloud gives you a visual Docker Compose editor on your own domain. Deploy Compose Craft from the OneClick catalog and xCloud starts the pinned 1.1.3 image behind a gateway that asks for a generated Basic Authentication login, with a private MongoDB 7 database and a persistent volume, then publishes it over HTTPS. Design services, networks and volumes on a canvas and export the compose file.
Compose Craft is, in its README's words, a tool to help you manage, edit and share docker compose files in a GUI way. It lists creating a compose file with a GUI, sharing a compose diagram with a public link, importing your own docker files and exporting the code. The project is built with Next.js and TypeScript, uses react-flow for the node canvas and stores data in MongoDB. Self-hosted Compose Craft is a visual Docker Compose editor you run yourself. It is licensed under the Fair Core License, not an OSI open-source licence.
On xCloud this template deploys Compose Craft 1.1.3, pinned by digest, with a Caddy gateway that enforces HTTP Basic Authentication in front of the whole site and a private MongoDB 7.0 database. Users and composes sit on the compose_craft_db volume. It runs in self-host mode, so the hosted library and GitHub sign-in are not available.
Self-hosting Compose Craft normally means wiring up a database, a reverse proxy, a TLS certificate and a login gate before you can design a single stack. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Compose Craft from the OneClick catalog. Choose a Basic Authentication username and keep or change the generated password.
Step 02
One click. We provision the server, bring up the pinned Compose Craft, MongoDB and Caddy gateway images, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Sign in with the gateway credentials, register your own Compose Craft account at /signin, and start designing your first compose.
Compose Craft runs in full here — a visual canvas for Docker Compose, with your composes stored on infrastructure you control.
Design services, networks, volumes and ports as connected nodes instead of hand-writing YAML line by line.
Environment variables, volumes, networks and ports are managed visually, so you can see how a stack fits together at a glance.
Import an existing docker-compose.yml, edit it visually, then export the result as a ready-to-run compose file.
Share a compose with teammates by link — readable by anyone who has the link and the site's login.
The whole site sits behind HTTP Basic Authentication, so strangers cannot reach it without the login.
Accounts, composes and sessions are stored in MongoDB and survive an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for Compose Craft, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
You drag services, networks, volumes and ports onto a canvas, see how they connect, and export a compose file once the picture matches what you want to run.
You import a docker-compose file you already have, see its services laid out visually, adjust it and export the changed code.
A team lead sends a share link to a compose diagram for review. Anyone with the link and the Basic Authentication login can read it.
A developer who does not want internal service names on a public hosted tool keeps drafts in a database on a server they rent, behind a login gate.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

No. The LICENSE file at the pinned v1.1.3 tag is the Fair Core License, No Transition edition, which is not an OSI open-source licence. Personal and internal use is permitted, and offering it to others as a competing commercial service is not. Read the terms before you use it.
Yes, and this Compose Craft Docker hosting template does it for you: the pinned composecraft/composecraft image runs on your own server beside a Caddy gateway and a private MongoDB container, with HTTPS in front. It is not a Compose Craft cloud account, so the data stays with you.
Compose Craft requires 1024 MB of RAM, a single core and 10 GB of disk at minimum for the app, gateway and MongoDB. PNG export starts a headless Chromium, which adds load. This page sells the 6 GB tier, which leaves wide headroom above that floor.
Upstream lists importing your own docker files among its features, and the editor is where you do it. This page does not test every compose feature, so import a copy of your file, check the services on the canvas and compare the exported YAML with the original.
Your browser first asks for the Basic Authentication username and generated password shown after install. Behind that gate Compose Craft has its own accounts: register yours at /signin, and each account sees only its own composes. There is no admin role and no seeded user.
Anyone who passes the Basic Authentication gate can register at /signin. After you register, add DISABLE_SIGNUP=1 in the xCloud Environment editor and redeploy; any non-empty value closes it. The form stays visible afterwards, but submitting it creates no account.
Yes. Upstream stores data in MongoDB, and this template runs a private MongoDB 7.0 container with generated credentials and no published port. Those credentials are read only on its first start, so editing them later breaks the app's login instead of rotating the password.
No. Email is not supported here, so password-reset links appear only in the container logs and are never sent. Telemetry and the Brevo mailing hook are switched off, and the one outbound request is to the GitHub releases API to show an update banner.
Back up the compose_craft_db volume, mounted at /data/db in the database container, which holds all users and composes. Keep your Basic Authentication credentials and SECRET_KEY safe too, because changing the key signs every user out. Test a restore on a disposable install.
Newer catalog entries leave a live 1.1.3 install alone; adopting a newer template version is a step you take. Back up the volume first and read the upstream release notes. The in-app update banner only tells you a release exists and does not upgrade anything.
No. PNG export is best effort, it launches a headless Chromium, and exports sit in an in-memory folder that is not kept across restarts. The in-app View Code dialog sometimes stayed on loading in QA, so download the YAML as the dependable way to get your compose file.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Your canvas, your compose files, your server — live in about five minutes. Design your first stack today instead of hand-writing YAML.
