Is Easy!Appointments free?

Yes. The README gives the code as GPL v3.0 and the content as CC BY 3.0, and the LICENSE at the 1.6.0 tag is the GNU GPL version 3. No licence is bought separately; the dedicated Cloud VPS is the one xCloud charge.

Does Easy!Appointments sync with Google Calendar?

Upstream lists Google Calendar synchronisation as a feature. The template does not set it up, so you configure it inside the application after the wizard. Test it with a real appointment before telling customers to rely on it.

Can customers book appointments themselves?

The README describes appointment and customer management, service and provider organisation, working plans and booking rules, but not the customer-facing page in detail. After setup, open your booking page and make a test booking before you share the link.

How much RAM does Easy!Appointments need?

How do I create the first administrator?

Open your HTTPS URL and complete the setup wizard, which creates the first administrator, business, provider and service. xCloud generates and shows no application password for this app, so choose a strong password yourself and keep it private.

Does Easy!Appointments send email out of the box?

No. SMTP is not configured by default. Set the MAIL_* values for an external SMTP provider in the Environment editor before relying on appointment notifications or password-recovery email, then test one real notification before you rely on it.

How do I back up Easy!Appointments?

Back up both volumes together: easy_appointments_storage for uploads, cache and sessions, and easy_appointments_db for the MariaDB data. Use a consistent database dump, keep copies off the server, and test a restore on a spare server before you need it.

How do I upgrade Easy!Appointments?

Nothing upgrades it for you: the install stays on pinned release 1.6.0 until you adopt a newer template version. Take a copy of both volumes first, read the upstream release notes, then check administrator login and a service afterwards.

Can I rotate the database credentials?

Yes, but keep them stable day to day. Changing them in the environment editor alone does not rotate the existing MariaDB account, so change the account first, then update the matching application and database values together and redeploy.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
