What is NetBox?

Self-hosted NetBox is a network source of truth. What are the requirements to self-host NetBox?

The template manifest asks for 4096 MB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 15 GB of disk as a floor. A 4 GB floor leaves little headroom on a 6 GB server once PostgreSQL, two Valkey instances and the worker run, so the 16 GB tier is the entry rung here.

Is NetBox free and open source?

Yes. NetBox is Apache-2.0 licensed, per the LICENSE.txt at the v4.6.8 tag, which means the code costs nothing to run. xCloud bills only for the dedicated Cloud VPS, and your network model, tokens and change history stay on your own volumes.
