OpnForm hosting on xCloud lets you deploy OpnForm, an open-source no-code form builder for surveys, quizzes, lead capture and file collection, on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned API, client, queue worker and scheduler with private PostgreSQL and Redis, generates the application secrets, mounts persistent volumes and publishes it over HTTPS. The first account you register becomes the workspace admin.
OpnForm is an open-source form builder with a no-code editor, unlimited forms and submissions, conditional logic, file uploads, embedding on any site, email notifications, form analytics, captcha protection and Slack, Discord and webhook integrations. A self-hosted OpnForm puts forms on your own domain instead of a hosted form tool such as Typeform. The core is AGPL-3.0-or-later, while upstream's enterprise folders are proprietary.
On xCloud it is OpnForm 2.5.0, upstream's API and client images pinned by digest, with a queue worker, a scheduler, PostgreSQL 16, Redis 7 and an nginx ingress. The opnform_storage, opnform_db and opnform_redis volumes hold uploads, data and queues. The first account you register becomes the workspace admin, and email stays off until you configure SMTP for invitations.
Self-hosting a form builder normally means an API, a queue worker, a database, a domain and a certificate before a single form can go live. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Choose OpnForm from the xCloud OneClick catalog and select a domain. There are no extra fields — xCloud generates the credentials.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned OpnForm 2.5.0 stack — API, UI, queue worker, scheduler, PostgreSQL and Redis — and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open the HTTPS OpnForm URL and create your account right away — the first account becomes the admin and registration closes afterward. Create a form, publish it, and submit it once from a private window.
OpnForm runs in its self-hosted mode here — the form builder, public form links and response dashboard, on infrastructure you control.
Build surveys, quizzes, lead-capture and file-upload forms with conditional logic.
Share public form links that anyone can fill in without an account — verified end to end on QA, including anonymous submission and owner-side review.
The template starts a queue worker and a scheduler from the API image, so queued jobs and scheduled tasks run in the background.
The app key, JWT secret, database and Redis passwords are all generated for you, so there are no install-form fields.
Every image version is pinned by immutable digest so your install matches what was reviewed.
Forms, submissions, uploaded files and the database live in persistent volumes and survive an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for OpnForm, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Build a form with conditional logic, embed it on your site and get submissions in a dashboard with analytics, so a marketing team captures leads without a hosted form subscription.
Publish a survey or quiz at a link on your domain and keep every response in your own PostgreSQL database, which matters when answers include personal data.
Let people upload files through a form, up to 50 MB each, stored in your own volume, so documents arrive in one place instead of scattered across email threads.
Forward responses to Slack, Discord or a webhook, so your team is notified the moment a form is submitted and another system can act on it.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

The template floor is 1024 MB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 10 GB of disk, shared by the API, queue worker, scheduler, client, PostgreSQL and Redis. The 6 GB plan sits well above that floor and leaves room for uploads and responses.
Yes, and this template is opnform docker hosting without the setup: the API and client images, PostgreSQL 16, Redis 7 and nginx pinned by digest, three named volumes, generated secrets and HTTPS on your own domain, with a worker and scheduler included.
Yes for building and sharing forms: the template is tagged a Typeform alternative. OpnForm is a form builder you host yourself, so responses and uploads stay on your server. Upstream publishes no feature-by-feature comparison.
Upstream lists Slack, Discord and webhooks, plus email notifications and embedding on any site. Email is off by default here, so invitations, password resets and notifications only arrive after you set the MAIL values in the Environment editor.
The core is open source under AGPL-3.0-or-later and costs nothing to run; enterprise folders are proprietary and not enabled here. You pay for the Cloud VPS alone, so this OpnForm cloud install stands apart from the managed opnform.com service.
Only until the first account exists. While no user exists, anyone who reaches the page can register, and the first account becomes the workspace admin. Afterwards registration is closed except through invitations, so register right after install.
No. MAIL_MAILER is set to log, so invitations, password resets and form notifications are only written to the log. To send mail, switch it to smtp, fill in the commented MAIL values and redeploy.
Back up opnform_storage, which holds uploads and generated keys, opnform_db, which holds PostgreSQL data, and opnform_redis together. Keep APP_KEY and JWT_SECRET unchanged, because changing APP_KEY makes previously encrypted data unreadable.
The install stays on its pinned 2.5.0 images until you adopt a newer template version. Back up all three volumes first. The API runs database migrations on start, nothing upgrades by itself, and a redeploy keeps the volumes.
Yes, by design. Anyone with a form link can open and submit it, while the dashboard and API require sign-in. Files submitted through forms are stored on this server, and anonymous telemetry to the OpnForm project is turned off.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
