Deploy Redash hosting and give your team a self-hosted SQL dashboard and BI tool: write queries, chart the results and share dashboards. xCloud runs the pinned Redash 26.9.0 image with private Postgres and Redis, a query worker and a scheduler, generates the secrets, mounts a persistent database volume and publishes it over HTTPS on your own domain in just a few minutes.
Self-hosted Redash is an open-source SQL dashboard and BI tool. Upstream says it lets SQL users explore, query, visualize and share data from any data source, in the browser, with a query editor, drag-and-drop visualizations, dashboards, scheduled refreshes, alerts and a REST API. It supports more than 35 SQL and NoSQL data sources, and teams run it as a self-hosted alternative to Tableau and Looker.
On xCloud the template runs the official redash/redash 26.9.0 image, pinned by digest, as a web server, a worker and a scheduler, beside private Postgres 17 and Redis 7. One redash_db volume holds the data. The first visitor creates the administrator on the setup page, email stays off until SMTP is set, and Redash upgrades need manual schema migrations.
Self-hosting Redash normally means a web server, a worker, a scheduler, Postgres, Redis, secrets and a certificate before the first query. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Redash from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official Redash image, pinned by immutable digest, as a web server, a query worker and a scheduler, alongside private Postgres 17 and Redis 7 with no host ports. The redash_db volume holds your data, the secrets are generated, and the site is published over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the secret key shown in the protected installation credentials. After the first boot, about 2-3 minutes, open your HTTPS URL and create the administrator on the setup page. Then connect a data source and write your first query.
Redash runs in full here: SQL queries, charts and dashboards for your team, backed by a worker and scheduler on your own domain.
Write SQL against the databases and APIs an administrator connects as data sources, and run it from the browser.
Turn query results into visualisations and combine them into dashboards you can share with your team.
Refresh queries on a schedule and set alerts, run by the bundled worker and scheduler services.
The first visitor becomes the administrator, and further users are added by invitation from Settings.
The secret key and cookie secret are generated per install rather than left at defaults, and the key is shown in the protected credentials.
Queries, dashboards and data sources live in Postgres on the redash_db volume and survive an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for Redash, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
An analyst writes SQL against the team's databases, turns the results into charts and combines them into a dashboard that colleagues open from a shareable URL.
A team sets queries to refresh at intervals so dashboards stay current, using the scheduler and worker the template runs, without anyone re-running reports by hand.
An operator defines a condition on a query result and is alerted when the data crosses it, once SMTP or another destination is configured for notifications.
A data lead connects data sources with read-only users, then lets teammates reuse saved queries and visualizations, with shared queries open to peer review.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Per upstream, Redash lets SQL users explore, query, visualize and share data from any data source. You write queries in a browser editor with a schema browser, chart the results, combine them into dashboards, and schedule refreshes and alerts. This template gives you the server for that.
Yes. The LICENSE at the v26.9.0 tag is the BSD 2-Clause licence, so using Redash costs nothing in licences. xCloud charges for the dedicated Cloud VPS that runs it, and this template adds no paid Redash tier or licence key.
This template does it for you: one official redash/redash 26.9.0 image run as server, scheduler and worker, plus Postgres 17 and Redis 7, all pinned by digest, behind HTTPS. It is Redash Docker hosting without writing the compose file or the migrations step.
Redash needs 2048 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 10 GB of disk at minimum, and the 6 GB Cloud VPS sold here suits a Redash cloud server. Gunicorn runs 2 web processes and the worker runs 2, each holding the whole app in memory, so raise them for heavy use.
Upstream says Redash supports more than 35 SQL and NoSQL data sources, from Amazon Athena and DynamoDB to Cassandra and ClickHouse, and can be extended with more. You add them under Settings, Data Sources, using read-only database users, since everyone who can sign in can query them.
Yes, upstream lists alerts that notify you when data changes, but email is off until you set the sender and SMTP server settings in the Environment editor. Leave them unset rather than half configured, then Save and Redeploy once you have the full set.
Everything stateful is in the redash_db volume. For a consistent backup, stop the install and copy the volume off-server, or take a pg_dump. Keep a copy of REDASH_SECRET_KEY with the backup, or restored data source passwords cannot be decrypted. Test a restore.
Updates are deliberate. The image is pinned to 26.9.0 by digest, and existing installs stay on their version. To move up, back up the redash_db volume, then adopt a newer template version once one is published. Redash upgrades need schema migrations the template does not run for you, so read the release notes first.
The first visitor to the setup page becomes the administrator, so open your HTTPS URL and register right after the first boot, which takes two to three minutes. The form sends your name, email and organisation to the Redash project, with no setting to switch that off.
Neither is better in general. Redash suits SQL users who explore data from a query editor, with a schema browser and auto-complete. It is BSD 2-Clause licensed, so test your own data sources and queries on it before choosing between the two.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
