What is Soketi?

Soketi is an open-source, Pusher-compatible WebSocket server built on uWebSockets.js. It implements Pusher Protocol v7, so existing Pusher clients need only the host, port and credentials changed, organises access through defined apps, can keep app data in static arrays, DynamoDB or SQL, and uses Redis to scale across instances. A self-hosted Soketi is a Pusher-compatible WebSocket server of your own, an alternative to Pusher. It is AGPL-3.0 licensed, and upstream says maintenance has been limited.

On xCloud it is Soketi 1.6.1, the official image pinned by digest, as a single service with an in-memory app manager. It has no database, cache or volume, and metrics are disabled. xCloud generates the app ID, app key and app secret, and serves HTTPS and WSS on your domain, so your application uses port 443 with TLS enabled.
