Wazuh hosting on xCloud gives your security team a self-hosted SIEM and XDR without hand-building the stack. xCloud deploys the pinned Wazuh 4.14.8 manager, indexer and dashboard together, generates the admin login, the agent enrollment password and a fresh set of certificates for your install, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the dashboard over HTTPS on your domain in minutes.
Wazuh is a free and open-source platform for threat prevention, detection and response. It is built to protect workloads across on-premises, virtualized, containerized and cloud-based environments.
The solution consists of an endpoint security agent, deployed to the monitored systems, and a management server that collects and analyses the data the agents gather. On xCloud the manager, the indexer that stores and searches alerts, and the dashboard are deployed together as one stack.
A Wazuh stack normally means a manager, an indexer, a dashboard, a certificate authority, a set of generated passwords, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first agent connects. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Wazuh from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in, because xCloud generates the credentials.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the Wazuh manager, the Wazuh indexer (single-node OpenSearch) and the Wazuh dashboard from official images pinned by immutable digest, run a small certificate service that creates per-install certificates on first start, mount a persistent volume for each component, and publish the dashboard over HTTPS. The indexer (port 9200) and manager API (port 55000) stay on the stack's private network.
Step 03
Allow 3 to 5 minutes on first start, then sign in as admin with the generated password from the installation credentials. Open Deploy new agent in the dashboard and use the agent server address and enrollment password from the credentials card to connect your first machine.
The full Wazuh stack runs here: agents report to your manager, and alerts, vulnerabilities and compliance findings land in your dashboard.
Agents scan monitored systems for malware, rootkits and suspicious anomalies, and the server analyses collected logs with its rule engine to look for indicators of compromise.
Agents read operating system and application logs and forward them to the manager for rule-based analysis and storage; the manager can also receive syslog from network devices.
Wazuh watches the file system for changes in content, permissions, ownership and attributes, and identifies the users and applications behind them.
Agents send software inventory data to the server, where it is correlated with CVE databases to find known vulnerable software.
Periodic agent scans check system and application settings against your security policies and hardening guides, with recommendations in the alerts.
Agents must present a generated enrollment password to register, instead of the stock configuration that lets any reachable host enroll.
Managed hosting for Wazuh, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Install agents on the machines you monitor and see malware, rootkit and anomaly alerts in one dashboard you host yourself.
Forward operating system and application logs, or syslog from network devices, to one manager and search the resulting alerts in the indexer.
Use file integrity monitoring to see changes to files that matter, a control that several regulatory standards, such as PCI DSS, call for.
Correlate each agent's software inventory with CVE databases to see which hosts run known vulnerable packages before an attacker does.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Use the user admin and the generated dashboard password from the protected installation credentials. Upstream default credentials were verified rejected, and demo accounts are not created.
The Wazuh manager, the Wazuh indexer (single-node OpenSearch) and a small certificate service that creates per-install certificates on first start. The indexer on port 9200 and the manager API on port 55000 are reachable only on the stack's private network.
Open Agents, choose Deploy new agent, and use the agent server address, the ports and the enrollment password from the credentials card. Open the agent ports in your own firewall first.
No. Agents must present the generated enrollment password. Keep it private: anyone who can reach the agent ports can try to enroll.
Agent events (TCP) and agent enrollment (TCP) are published on the server address, and syslog (UDP) is listed too but does nothing until a syslog receiver is added to the manager configuration. xCloud does not open the server firewall, so open these in your own firewall, ideally only to your agents' addresses.
An agent must not be newer than the manager, which is Wazuh 4.14.8 on this template.
No. Agents connect to fixed ports, so only one Wazuh stack fits on a server.
Allow 3 to 5 minutes while the stack creates the security index and the certificates. The dashboard can also take about 20 seconds to load on a cold start.
Registered agents, indexed alerts and the admin login were all intact after restarting every container in QA, because indexer data, manager configuration and agent keys, certificates and dashboard settings live on persistent volumes.
The indexer data, the manager configuration and the three certificate volumes, together, since the certificates must match the data they protect.
Not the indexer, dashboard and API passwords: they are applied once at first start, and editing them afterwards breaks the login between components. The agent enrollment password is applied on every start and can be rotated by redeploying; already registered agents keep working.
No. The template pins Wazuh 4.14.8 by immutable digest, so existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template's baseline asks for 2 CPU cores, 4096 MB of RAM and 20 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 2.1 GiB. A 4 GB minimum would leave little headroom on a 6 GB server, so this page sells the 16 GB tier as the entry rung.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Wazuh project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Wazuh platform.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
