Deploy Zammad hosting and run a self-hosted helpdesk and ticketing system for email, chat, phone and social support on your own domain. xCloud starts the pinned official image with private PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached and Elasticsearch services, generates the database password and mounts five persistent volumes behind HTTPS. You create the first administrator in the Getting Started wizard, and mail is yours to connect.
Zammad is a web-based, open-source helpdesk and customer support platform that streamlines communication across channels such as email, chat, telephone and social media, released under the AGPLv3 and owned by the independent Zammad Foundation. Self-hosted Zammad is the option for teams that would otherwise pay a hosted helpdesk such as Zendesk or Freshdesk, or use the cloud service run by Zammad GmbH.
On xCloud the template follows the official zammad-docker-compose production stack: the Zammad 7.2.2 image runs the init, Rails server, WebSocket, scheduler, nginx and backup roles, beside private PostgreSQL 17.11, Redis, Memcached and Elasticsearch containers, all pinned by digest. That is nine containers and a 4 GB RAM floor. There is no default login, and email is not set up for you.
A Zammad stack normally means a Rails server, a WebSocket service, a scheduler, a database, a cache, a search engine, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first ticket. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Zammad from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up Zammad with its web, WebSocket and scheduler roles and a backup service, plus private PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached and a single-node Elasticsearch kept off the public internet. The database password is generated, five persistent volumes are mounted, and the interface is published over HTTPS on your domain. Allow a few minutes for the first start to prepare the database and search index.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS Zammad URL and complete the Getting Started wizard, which creates the first administrator. Then optionally add your own outbound SMTP and inbound mailbox under Admin > Channels > Email.
Zammad runs in full here: a shared support desk on your own domain, backed by a database and search index you own.
Handle tickets from email, chat, phone and social channels in one place, with one conversation history per ticket.
A bundled single-node Elasticsearch index makes tickets searchable, and it stays on the private network.
Set service level agreements and triggers so tickets are escalated and handled by the rules your team defines.
Publish help articles from the same system your agents answer tickets in.
Connect your own outbound SMTP and inbound mailbox under Admin > Channels > Email; xCloud does not set mail up for you.
A backup service writes a PostgreSQL dump and an attachments archive to a dedicated volume every night and keeps ten days.
Managed hosting for Zammad, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
A small support team can move from a shared mailbox to tickets with owners, statuses and history, once it has connected its own inbound mailbox and outbound SMTP.
Elasticsearch-backed full-text search lets an agent look up an earlier conversation, and a knowledge base lets customers find common answers themselves.
Upstream positions Zammad across email, chat, telephone and social media, so a team can keep customer conversations in one queue instead of several tools.
An organisation with strict data rules can hold tickets, attachments and the search index on its own Cloud VPS instead of a vendor's cloud service.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Zammad is used to run customer support. Incoming email and other channels become tickets that agents answer, assign and track, with full-text search to find past conversations and a knowledge base for self-service answers. Teams use it as a shared inbox with SLAs and triggers once volume outgrows a mailbox.
Yes. Zammad is open source under the GNU AGPLv3, and upstream says the software is and will stay open source. Zammad GmbH sells a cloud service and support separately, and neither is part of this template. On xCloud you pay for the Cloud VPS that runs the nine containers and the deployment around them.
Yes. For Zammad Docker hosting the template follows the official zammad-docker-compose production stack: the official image in several roles plus PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached and Elasticsearch containers, all pinned by digest, with five named volumes. It generates the database password and puts HTTPS on your domain, with the stack already defined.
The template manifest asks for 4 GB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 20 GB of disk, and an idle install uses about 2.5 GB. Elasticsearch is capped at a 512 MB heap and Memcached at 256 MB. This page sells the 16 GB Cloud VPS for the nine-container stack, with room for tickets and attachments to grow.
The template runs nine: init, Rails server, WebSocket, scheduler, nginx and backup roles from the Zammad image, plus PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached and a single-node Elasticsearch. Only the nginx role is published, serving the web interface and the WebSocket on one port behind HTTPS. The data services stay on the private network.
A backup service in the stack writes a PostgreSQL dump and an attachment archive to the zammad_backup volume at 03:00 UTC every day and keeps ten days. Those files sit on the same server and exclude the search index, so copy them off it regularly. Back up the other volumes too, and test a restore.
Zammad 7.2.2-0000 and each sidecar keep their digests, so nothing changes by itself. Read the Zammad and zammad-docker-compose notes, never skip a Zammad major version, copy the volumes, then choose a later template version that updates every tag together and verify tickets and search afterwards.
Email is not set up for you. Add your own inbound mailbox and outbound SMTP in the Getting Started wizard, or later under Admin, Channels, Email. Zammad reacts to every email it fetches, so connect a production mailbox only when you are ready for it to create tickets from the messages it finds.
There is none. The first start prepares the database and the search index, which takes a few minutes, and then the Getting Started wizard asks you to create the first administrator. No credential is generated or displayed by xCloud, so choose a strong password and finish the wizard promptly.
Yes. Under Zammad cloud use, xCloud provisions a dedicated Cloud VPS, runs the nine containers on it and attaches your domain and certificate. After any later domain change, update the Base URL in Admin settings too. Another provider's server can be attached as a self-managed server.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
