Deploy DDNS-GO hosting and run a self-hosted dynamic DNS client that keeps your DNS records pointed at your server's public IP on a dedicated Cloud VPS. xCloud starts the pinned DDNS-GO v6.17.7 container with the admin login you chose written before the page is served, keeps provider settings on a persistent volume and serves the web interface over HTTPS on your own domain.
DDNS-GO is a dynamic DNS client that automatically obtains your public IPv4 or IPv6 address and updates the matching DNS records. It supports many providers, including Cloudflare, Alibaba Cloud DNS, DNSPod, GoDaddy and Namecheap, several at once, with a web interface for configuration, a default five-minute interval and webhook notifications. Run on your own server it is a self-hosted DDNS-GO, an alternative to a hosted dynamic DNS service such as No-IP, under the MIT licence.
On xCloud it is one container, jeessy/ddns-go v6.17.7 pinned by digest, needing only outbound HTTPS to your DNS provider and an IP lookup service. The ddns_go_config volume holds a single YAML settings file. In this bridged install only the URL-based IPv4 lookup reports the server's real address, so IPv6 and interface sources are not available.
A DDNS-GO install normally means a small Go container, a web login that is safe from the first visit, a settings volume, a domain and a certificate before the first record updates. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick DDNS-GO from the OneClick catalog. Choose the admin username and a password of at least 12 letters and digits, or leave it empty to have 24 generated, then choose a domain and a server.
Step 02
One click. We start jeessy/ddns-go v6.17.7, pinned by digest, as one container, write the admin login on first start so nobody else can claim the page, mount ddns_go_config at /root and publish HTTPS on port 9876.
Step 03
Sign in, add a DNS provider such as Cloudflare with a token that can edit DNS, list the domains to keep updated and save. Keep the default URL-based IPv4 lookup, then check the Logs tab for the first successful update.
DDNS-GO v6.17.7 runs here as a web-managed updater, with its single settings file kept on a volume you own.
DDNS-GO obtains your public IP and updates DNS records, checking by default every five minutes, per upstream and the template.
Upstream supports many DNS providers, including Cloudflare, Alibaba Cloud DNS, DNSPod, GoDaddy and Namecheap, and several can be configured at once.
Add providers, domains and TTL in the web interface, which also shows recent log lines so you can confirm the last update.
DDNS-GO normally lets the first visitor choose the login. The template writes yours at start, so the page is never open.
Only the URL-based IPv4 lookup reports this server's real address. IPv6 and network-interface sources read the container's private network.
Providers, domains and credentials live in one YAML file on ddns_go_config, with provider API tokens in it, so treat the volume as sensitive.
Managed hosting for DDNS-GO, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Let DDNS-GO update an A record at your DNS provider when the server's public IP changes, so the name keeps resolving.
Configure more than one provider and several domains, including multi-level names, and let one client update all of them.
Use webhook notifications to tell another system when DDNS-GO updates a record, so dependent services can react.
Update records in a DNS provider account you already own, instead of paying a dynamic DNS service for hostnames.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Yes, and this template is DDNS-GO Docker hosting without the setup: the jeessy/ddns-go v6.17.7 image pinned by digest, one container, the ddns_go_config volume at /root and an HTTPS route to port 9876. Upstream also publishes release binaries and Docker instructions.
The template minimum is 64 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 1 GB of disk, since it is a small Go program with one settings file. Even the smallest sold plan is far above that.
Upstream lists many, including Cloudflare, Alibaba Cloud DNS, DNSPod, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Porkbun, deSEC and a custom callback. The list changes between releases, so check the current README, and note that this page quotes no provider count.
By default it syncs every five minutes: it looks up the server's public IP and updates the records you configured when the address differs. You add the provider token and the domains in the web interface, and the Logs tab shows the result.
Not usefully. The container only needs outbound HTTPS, and IPv6 and network-interface sources read the container's private bridge network, so they will not give the server's real address. Keep the default URL-based IPv4 lookup in this install.
Sign in with the admin username and password from the credentials. DDNS-GO normally lets the first visitor choose the login, but the template writes it on first start. Change it later inside the app, not in the environment.
Yes. DDNS-GO is released under the MIT licence, so the client has no licence fee. Only the server plan carries a price. Your DNS provider may charge for its own service, and API tokens are yours to create.
Back up the ddns_go_config volume, which holds the whole configuration including provider API credentials, so keep the copy private. Plan the copy yourself, run it often and restore it once to be sure. Settings changes already survive restarts and redeploys.
Nothing upgrades itself: v6.17.7 is pinned by digest, a newer release only arrives when you choose to deploy it. Back up the volume, read the upstream release notes, then move to a newer template version when one is published, keeping the volume.
It is DDNS-GO on a dedicated Cloud VPS under your xCloud login, a DDNS-GO cloud of your own at your domain. To reset a lost password, run the documented resetPassword command inside the container and restart it.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
