Dashwise hosting gives you a GUI-configured homelab dashboard for links, status checks and news feeds on your own domain. Deploy Dashwise v1.0-rc2, an upstream release candidate, as a self-hosted homelab dashboard: xCloud runs the pinned official image, keeps its PocketBase database and uploaded wallpapers on a persistent volume and publishes it over HTTPS. Registration is open until you switch it off.
Self-hosted Dashwise is a homelab dashboard. Its README describes a dashboard configured entirely from its UI, with glanceables and widgets, link groups and folders, an RSS news page, Ctrl+K spotlight-like search with search-engine bangs, notifications received through PUSH requests, and authentication including OIDC SSO built in. It stands in for a hosted start page when you want your app links and service checks on your own server. It is GPL-3.0 licensed, and v1.0-rc2 is a release candidate.
On xCloud the template runs the official andreasmolnardev/dashwise v1.0-rc2 image as one container pinned by immutable digest, with the web app, its PocketBase database and an in-memory feed cache, and the dashwise_data volume holding the database and uploaded wallpapers. HTTPS is published on your domain. Registration is open until you set DISABLE_USER_SIGNUP=true, and every account is a regular user.
Self-hosting Dashwise normally means a container, a domain, a certificate and account setup before a single link is organized. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account, pick Dashwise from the OneClick catalog and choose a domain. There are no app-specific fields — xCloud generates the internal database administrator password.
Step 02
One click. We bring up Dashwise v1.0-rc2 pinned by immutable digest, mount the data volume for its PocketBase database and wallpapers, and publish it over HTTPS.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS URL, select Sign Up and create your account, then add DISABLE_USER_SIGNUP=true in the Environment editor and redeploy before adding your first link and link group.
Dashwise runs in full here — its links, status checks and news tooling, on infrastructure you control.
Organise every self-hosted app as links in groups and folders on one dashboard, edited right in the browser.
Run status checks on your links on a schedule, handled by the built-in monitoring job.
Subscribe to RSS feeds and read them on the News page, right alongside your links.
Press Ctrl+K to search across links and integrations, with search-engine bangs supported.
Receive notifications through the built-in notifications endpoint via simple PUSH requests.
Accounts, links, groups and settings live on one persistent volume, surviving a restart.
Managed hosting for Dashwise, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Organise your self-hosted apps as links in groups and folders on one dashboard, edited in the browser with no configuration file to touch.
Run status checks on your links on a schedule through the built-in monitoring job, and see at a glance which of your apps has stopped answering.
Subscribe to RSS feeds and read them on the News page, so the dashboard doubles as a quiet reading list alongside your shortcuts.
Press Ctrl+K to search across links and integrations, or use the search-engine bangs you set, instead of hunting through folders.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

The manifest asks for 1 CPU core, 1024 MB of RAM and 4 GB of disk as a floor for the web app and its database. The 6 GB Cloud VPS sold on this page is well above that floor, leaving room for wallpapers, feeds and other OneClick apps on the same server.
Yes. Dashwise is GPL-3.0 licensed, per the LICENSE file at the v1.0-rc2 tag, which keeps the software free. xCloud bills only the dedicated server, and your links, groups and settings stay on the dashwise_data volume of your own server.
Yes, and this is Dashwise Docker hosting prepared for you. Upstream recommends its docker-compose file for production; the template runs the official andreasmolnardev/dashwise v1.0-rc2 image as one container, pinned by immutable digest, with dashwise_data and HTTPS in front on your domain.
No. v1.0-rc2 is an upstream release candidate, labelled as such by the project. Expect rough edges; a brand-new account can briefly show a home-links error until the first link group exists. Treat it as a good fit for a homelab, not for anything you need to be flawless.
Registration is open by default. Add DISABLE_USER_SIGNUP=true in the Environment editor and redeploy, and the backend rejects new sign-ups from then on. Create your own account first, because until you close sign-up anyone who finds the address can register.
No. Every account is a regular user and there is no separate admin tier, so anyone you let register has the same access to their own dashboard as you have to yours. Close sign-up once the accounts you want exist, rather than relying on roles.
The README says Dashwise has authentication built in, including SSO via OIDC. The template does not configure an identity provider, so set up OIDC yourself in the application settings before relying on it, and test sign-in before you close local registration.
Yes. Per its README it can receive notifications through simple PUSH requests to /api/v1/notifications/TOPIC-NAME, which you can send from scripts or other services. Treat the endpoint as part of your public surface and keep that in mind when choosing who may sign up.
A backup is the dashwise_data volume, which holds the PocketBase database and uploaded wallpapers, together with the site's environment values. Keep a copy off the server and test a restore, because a release candidate can change its data format between versions.
Nothing upgrades it for you: the template pins v1.0-rc2 by immutable digest. A daily job inside Dashwise checks the GitHub releases API for a newer version, but that only tells you one exists. To move up, copy dashwise_data, read the release notes, then adopt a newer template version; do not edit the image tag or digest yourself.
You get your own dashboard on a dedicated Cloud VPS set up by xCloud, not a hosted dashboard service. The container, the database and the volume belong to your install, and the dashboard is served over HTTPS on your domain.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
