Chiyogami hosting on xCloud gives you a self-hosted pastebin for sharing code, logs and notes, with syntax highlighting, Markdown, expiring links and client-side encryption. Deploy Chiyogami 1.5.6 and xCloud runs the pinned image behind HTTPS with an SQLite database on one persistent volume and a stable session key, ready in just a few minutes. No login is required by default.
Self-hosted Chiyogami is a sleek, modern pastebin that upstream says offers encryption, customizable expiry, private pastes, user accounts and an API for developers. Its README lists syntax highlighting, Markdown rendering, client-side encryption with the WebCrypto API so no password is saved on the server, public, unlisted and private pastes, QR codes and a curl-friendly API. It is a self-hosted alternative to hosted paste sites such as Pastebin, licensed BSD-3-Clause.
On xCloud the template runs ghcr.io/rhee876527/chiyogami 1.5.6, pinned by digest, as one container with SQLite in the chiyogami_data volume and no database service. It requires no login: anyone who can reach the URL can create pastes, read public ones and register an account, so add your own access control if that is not what you want.
Self-hosting Chiyogami normally means a container, a session signing key, a persistent volume and a domain before a single paste is shared. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Chiyogami from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain — there are no app-specific fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned Chiyogami 1.5.6 image, generate the session signing key, mount the persistent database volume, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS URL — no sign-in needed to paste. Create your first paste, pick visibility and expiry, and optionally register an account to manage your own pastes.
Chiyogami runs in full here — the same pasting, encryption and API tooling as any hosted pastebin, on infrastructure you control.
Share code snippets and logs with automatic syntax highlighting and Markdown rendering.
Set an expiry on every paste — from 10 minutes to one month, or never — so shared text cleans itself up.
Encrypt sensitive pastes with the WebCrypto API in the browser — the server stores only ciphertext and never sees the password.
Create and fetch pastes straight from the terminal, and share links by QR code.
Register to list and delete your own pastes — registration is optional, not required to paste.
All pastes and accounts live in a persistent volume on a server you control, not a third-party pastebin account.
Managed hosting for Chiyogami, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
A developer pastes code or logs, picks an expiry and visibility, and shares the link in chat, with syntax highlighting making it readable and the paste expiring on schedule.
A sysadmin pipes a file into the API with curl and gets back a link, or posts JSON with a visibility and expiration, without opening a browser.
Someone sharing a secret turns on client-side encryption on the web page, so the paste is encrypted with WebCrypto before upload and the server never holds the password.
A regular user registers an account to list and delete their own pastes, while whoever runs the server can put it behind Basic Auth or an IP allow-list if it should not be public.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. Chiyogami is released under the BSD 3-Clause licence, so the pastebin has no licence charge. xCloud bills for the dedicated Cloud VPS, and your pastes live in your own SQLite file. This template adds no paid Chiyogami tier.
Yes, and upstream's README gives a docker run command. This template does it for you: the ghcr.io/rhee876527/chiyogami 1.5.6 image, pinned by digest, with a persistent pastes volume behind HTTPS. It is Chiyogami Docker hosting without a compose file.
The floor is 256 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 1 GB of disk; upstream publishes no sizing, so that is a conservative figure for one Go binary with SQLite. A Chiyogami cloud paste site fits easily on the 6 GB Cloud VPS sold here.
Only if the writer turns encryption on. Upstream describes client-side encryption with the WebCrypto API, with no password saved on the server. Ordinary pastes are stored in readable form, and unlisted or private pastes are still readable by anyone holding the link.
Yes. The template requires no login, so anyone who can reach the URL can create pastes, read every public paste, which is also listed at /list, and register an ordinary account. Add Basic Auth or an IP allow-list at your proxy if you want it restricted.
Yes. Upstream describes a curl-friendly API: you can post a file or JSON with a visibility and expiration, and fetch a paste by ID with a JSON Accept header. The rate limit defaults to ten create, delete, register or login requests a minute per IP.
Not against someone who has the link. Unlisted and private pastes are hidden from the list but readable by anyone holding the URL, and the short four-letter IDs mean a determined visitor could guess links. For real privacy, use the in-browser encryption.
Take a backup of the chiyogami_data volume, which holds the pastes.db SQLite database. Stop the container or copy while the server is idle, and keep the SECRET_KEY from the environment so sessions survive a restore. Test a restore before relying on the copy.
Version 1.5.6 is pinned by digest, so nothing upgrades on its own. When xCloud publishes a newer Chiyogami template version, back up chiyogami_data, read upstream's release notes, adopt that template version, then create a test paste.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
