FluidCalendar hosting on xCloud gives you a self-hosted calendar and task scheduler that fits your tasks into the free time already on your calendar. Deploy FluidCalendar 1.5.0 and xCloud runs the pinned official image with a private PostgreSQL database, generates the session secret and database password, and publishes it over HTTPS in minutes. Create the administrator on the setup page straight away. Upstream warns it is in active development.
Self-hosted FluidCalendar is an open-source alternative to Motion, designed for intelligent task scheduling and calendar management. Upstream's README says it combines automatic task scheduling with calendar integration and the flexibility of open-source software, for people who want full control over their scheduling workflow. The same README warns it is in active development, contains bugs and is not yet recommended for production use. It is MIT licensed.
On xCloud the template runs eibrahim/fluid-calendar 1.5.0, pinned by digest, with PostgreSQL 16 on a private network, and the application container is stateless. One fluidcalendar_postgres_data volume holds users, calendars and tasks. Google, Outlook and password-reset email integrations are off until you add the keys, while the local calendar, tasks and CalDAV work without them.
Self-hosting FluidCalendar normally means hand-wiring a Next.js app, a PostgreSQL database, a reverse proxy and a TLS certificate before you can plan a single task. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick FluidCalendar from the OneClick catalog, then choose a domain. xCloud generates the session secret and database password for you.
Step 02
One click. We provision the server, bring up the digest-pinned FluidCalendar and PostgreSQL containers, publish it over HTTPS on your domain, and apply the first-start database migrations.
Step 03
Open the Setup URL from your installation credentials right away and create the administrator account — sign-up then closes. Sign in and plan your first task.
FluidCalendar runs in full here — the open-source app is complete, and your calendars, tasks and schedule sit on infrastructure you control.
Tasks drop automatically into the free time already on your calendar, instead of sitting in a separate to-do list you have to check.
Connect Google or Outlook calendars, or use CalDAV, once you add the OAuth keys yourself — local calendars and tasks work without them.
A single calendar and task workspace you host, with users, calendars and tasks in a PostgreSQL database on your own server.
Only the first account created at /setup becomes administrator, and public sign-up stays closed after that — no open registration to police.
The app and its database measured roughly 146 MB idle during verification, leaving room for other apps on the same server.
Users, calendars and tasks persist on a named volume; a task created during verification survived a full xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for FluidCalendar, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
A freelancer enters tasks with durations and lets FluidCalendar place them into free slots on their calendar, instead of planning each day by hand in a hosted scheduling app.
A user connects Google or Outlook calendars, or a CalDAV calendar, so meetings and tasks appear together, with the provider keys they add in the Environment editor.
Someone who does not want their calendar and tasks held by a hosted scheduling service runs the app on a Cloud VPS, with users, calendars and tasks in their own PostgreSQL database.
A team evaluating an open-source planner deploys it, reads upstream's active-development warning, and tests it with real tasks before depending on it.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. FluidCalendar is MIT licensed, so the app itself carries no licence charge. xCloud bills for the dedicated Cloud VPS. The project also runs a managed service of its own, which this template is not, so read its terms separately.
Yes, and the project publishes a pre-built image. This template does it for you: the eibrahim/fluid-calendar 1.5.0 image and PostgreSQL 16, pinned by digest, behind HTTPS. It is FluidCalendar Docker hosting without writing the compose file or running migrations by hand.
The floor is 512 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 10 GB of disk; measured use was about 146 MB idle and 181 MB after use. A FluidCalendar cloud install is sold on the 6 GB Cloud VPS here.
Optionally. Add GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID and GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET in the Environment editor and the authorised redirect URI on your domain, then redeploy. Outlook sync needs the Azure AD values. Without them the local calendar, tasks and CalDAV still work.
Yes, the template lists CalDAV support alongside Google and Outlook calendar sync. CalDAV calendars remain available without any provider keys, unlike the Google and Outlook integrations. You add calendar accounts inside the app after you sign in.
The first account created on an empty database, so open the setup page on your domain as soon as the site loads. Anyone who can reach the site can create it until then. Afterwards the setup page stops accepting accounts and public sign-up stays disabled.
Upstream's README says it is in active development, contains many bugs and incomplete features, and is not yet recommended for production use. Treat this template as a way to try and self-host it, report problems upstream, and keep backups of your calendar and task data.
Take a backup of the fluidcalendar_postgres_data volume, which holds all users, calendars and tasks. Stop the services for a filesystem snapshot, or use pg_dump against the database for a running install. Calendar sync tokens are stored too, so protect backups.
Upgrading is manual. FluidCalendar 1.5.0 and PostgreSQL 16 are pinned, and catalogue changes reach new installs only. Back up the database volume, read upstream's release notes, then adopt a newer template version; migrations run on every start.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
