InvenTree Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Manage parts, stock levels, suppliers, purchasing and manufacturing from a self-hosted inventory platform — your data stays on infrastructure you control. xCloud configures the pinned official InvenTree 1.5.0 image, private PostgreSQL and Redis services, two persistent volumes and the HTTPS reverse proxy, with a generated administrator password waiting when you sign in.

From Sign-Up to a Live InvenTree Install In Just 3 Easy Steps

Self-hosting InvenTree normally means a container stack, a private database, a cache, a domain and a certificate before a single part is logged. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account and pick InvenTree from the OneClick catalog. Enter the site title, domain, administrator username and administrator email.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the official multi-service InvenTree 1.5.0 stack pinned by immutable digest, provision private PostgreSQL and Redis, mount inventree_data and inventree_postgres, generate the administrator password and application secret, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

Sign In And Log Your First Part

Open your HTTPS URL and sign in with the administrator username you chose and the generated password shown in your xCloud credential panel. Create your first category, part and stock record.

Everything InvenTree Does, On Your Own Server

InvenTree runs in full here — the same parts, stock and manufacturing tooling as any hosted inventory tool, on infrastructure you control.

  • Parts And Categories

Organize inventory into categories, parts and stock items that match how your operation actually tracks components.

  • Stock And Purchasing

Track stock levels, suppliers and purchase orders in one place, instead of a spreadsheet next to the warehouse.

  • Manufacturing Workflows

Build bills of materials and manufacturing orders that turn tracked parts into finished builds.

  • REST API

Every InvenTree feature is reachable over its own REST API, so scripts and integrations can read and write inventory directly.

  • Your Data, Your Server

Parts, stock records, suppliers and manufacturing history stay on a server you control instead of a third-party SaaS account.

  • Two Volumes, Cleanly Split

Uploaded files and app data persist on inventree_data, the PostgreSQL database on inventree_postgres — both survive a restart.

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!

I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.

I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

What is InvenTree?

InvenTree is a free, open-source inventory-management platform for parts, stock, purchasing and manufacturing, with bills of materials and a REST API over all of it. This template deploys version 1.5.0.

Is InvenTree free?

Yes — it is free and open source under the MIT licence. What you pay xCloud for is the dedicated server it runs on and the management around it, not the application itself.

Can I self-host InvenTree?

Yes — that is exactly what this template deploys. It brings up the official InvenTree 1.5.0 image alongside private PostgreSQL and Redis, all pinned by immutable digest, mounts its two persistent volumes, and publishes it over HTTPS on your domain in about five minutes instead of assembled by hand.

What does xCloud configure automatically?

The InvenTree URL, a generated administrator password and application secret key, private PostgreSQL and Redis services, both persistent volumes, the domain and the HTTPS route. Only the web application is published through xCloud-managed ingress — the database and cache stay private.

Is there an administrator account?

Yes. You choose the administrator username and email at install time; xCloud generates the password and shows it once in your xCloud credential panel — no default credentials ship with the deployment.

Can I change the application secret key later?

No — INVENTREE_SECRET_KEY must stay stable. It protects InvenTree's application security data, and rotating it after installation is not a supported casual change.

What should I back up?

Both inventree_data and inventree_postgres together. The data volume holds uploaded files and application data; the PostgreSQL volume holds the database itself. Keep off-server copies you have actually test-restored.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update InvenTree?

No. The template pins InvenTree 1.5.0 by immutable digest; a catalog re-sync affects new installations only. Review InvenTree's upstream release notes and take a verified backup before changing the pinned release.

What are the server requirements?

The template manifest asks for 2048 MB of RAM, 2 CPU cores and 10 GB of disk as a floor. This page sells the 6 GB tier, which comfortably clears that floor with room for the PostgreSQL and Redis services running alongside it.

What survives a restart?

Everything on inventree_data and inventree_postgres, because both are persistent named volumes. Restarting the containers does not touch your parts, stock records, suppliers or manufacturing history.

Is xCloud officially partnered with InvenTree?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the InvenTree project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source InvenTree project.

Can I run other apps on the same server?

Yes. It is a dedicated Cloud VPS, not a locked appliance, so you can deploy other OneClick apps or your own sites beside it as long as the resources are there.

Is this a multi-warehouse, multi-tenant deployment?

No — this template deploys a single InvenTree instance. InvenTree itself supports multiple locations and categories within that one instance, which is the same capability you'd get self-hosting it any other way.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
