Keeper hosting on xCloud gives you a self-hosted calendar sync tool that pulls events from Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, CalDAV servers and ICS feeds and pushes them to other calendars. Deploy Keeper from the OneClick catalog and xCloud starts the pinned 2.24.6 image as one container with its bundled database, generates the secrets and publishes it over HTTPS. There is no administrator and no way to close sign-up, so anyone who reaches the site can register.
Keeper is, in its README's words, a simple and open-source calendar syncing tool. It pulls events from Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, CalDAV servers and remote iCal and ICS links and pushes them to one or many calendars, with per-source privacy controls that strip event names, descriptions and locations. It also offers a REST API, an MCP server for AI agents and a combined iCal feed. Self-hosted Keeper is a sync tool you run yourself instead of the hosted version at keeper.sh. It is licensed under AGPL-3.0.
In the xCloud template, the app runs Keeper 2.24.6, pinned by digest, as one container that runs its own PostgreSQL, Redis, API, web server and workers. The database sits on keeper_data. Keeper has no administrator role and no setting to close sign-up, so anyone who can reach the site can register. Google and Outlook need your own OAuth app, and stored CalDAV passwords depend on the encryption key.
Self-hosting calendar sync normally means a database, a cache, generated secrets and a domain before a single calendar connects. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account, pick Keeper from the OneClick catalog, and choose a domain. There are no extra fields — xCloud generates the secrets.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned Keeper 2.24.6 image with the session-signing secret and encryption key generated, and publish the app over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the Encryption Key shown in the protected installation credentials, open the HTTPS Keeper URL, register your own username and password, and add your first calendar source.
Keeper runs in full here — calendar sync, a combined iCal feed and the MCP endpoint, on infrastructure you control.
Sync events between Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, Fastmail, CalDAV servers and ICS feeds.
Publish a calendar as an iCal feed to share your availability without granting account access.
Keeper's own MCP endpoint lets AI agents work with your synced calendars.
Database, cache, API, web interface, MCP, cron and worker all run together in a single container.
Google Calendar and Outlook are optional and need your own OAuth app credentials; the other sources work immediately.
QA verified a 317-event feed was still present after an xCloud Restart and a fresh login.
Managed hosting for Keeper, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
You pull a work calendar into a personal one, so your free time is visible in both without double entry.
You sync events with their titles replaced by a template, so colleagues see you are busy without seeing why.
You publish one iCal feed that merges your sources and subscribe from any calendar app.
An agent connects to Keeper's MCP endpoint to read your calendar, using a token rather than your provider password.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Keeper is open source under AGPL-3.0, whose file is linked here at the pinned v2.24.6 tag; if you run a changed copy as a network service, AGPL-3.0 requires offering its source. Your xCloud invoice covers only the VPS. The project's hosted version is a separate service.
Yes, and this Keeper Docker hosting template does it for you: the ghcr.io/ridafkih/keeper-standalone image, pinned by digest, is one container holding its own database, workers and proxy, hosted on your server behind HTTPS. This is not a Keeper cloud account.
The catalog minimum for Keeper is 1024 MB of RAM, because PostgreSQL, Redis, the API, the web server and the workers all run in one container. More calendar sources need more. A 6 GB server, the tier sold here, comfortably exceeds it.
Open your HTTPS address and register your own username and password. There is no pre-set admin account, no administrator role and no email verification. Every account sees only its own calendars, and every feature is available to every account.
Yes, by default. Keeper has no setting to close sign-up, so anyone who can reach the site can register. Strangers could add ICS and CalDAV sources that your server fetches. If the site must stay private, add Basic Authentication, which also blocks feed links and MCP clients.
Not by default. The template turns on a block on fetches that resolve to private network addresses, because strangers can add sources. List your own hosts in PRIVATE_RESOLUTION_WHITELIST in the Environment editor if you need a calendar on your LAN.
Only to connect Google Calendar or Outlook. Register your own Google or Microsoft app with redirect addresses on your domain, then add its client ID and secret in the Environment editor. Without them only ICS, CalDAV, iCloud and Fastmail sources work.
A generated key shown in the credentials that encrypts stored CalDAV passwords. Keep a copy and never change it, or the saved credentials become unreadable. The separate auth secret signs sessions, and changing it only signs everyone out. Neither is regenerated on redeploy.
Back up the keeper_data volume as one unit, since it holds the whole database of accounts, sources, signing keys and encrypted credentials, together with the encryption key value. Without that key a restored database cannot decrypt CalDAV passwords. Test a restore.
Your 2.24.6 deployment keeps its pinned image until you decide to adopt a newer template version. Back up the volume and encryption key first and read the upstream release notes, since newer tags already exist. Then sign in and check a source still syncs.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
