NocoBase hosting on xCloud lets you deploy NocoBase, an open-source AI and no-code platform for building business systems, on a server you own. xCloud runs the pinned image with a private PostgreSQL 16 database, two persistent volumes, a generated administrator password and HTTPS on your own domain. Your business data stays in your own database, while you build pages, workflows and permissions visually.
NocoBase is an open-source AI and no-code platform for building business systems. It is data-model driven: business data sits in standard relational structures separate from the UI, and you configure data models, pages, workflows and permissions visually, with features delivered as plugins on a microkernel. A self-hosted NocoBase keeps data in your own database with no platform lock-in, as an alternative to hosted tools such as Airtable. It ships under the NocoBase License Agreement, which is Apache-2.0 plus supplementary terms.
On xCloud it is NocoBase 2.2.21, the slim image with commercial plugins not bundled, pinned by digest, beside a private PostgreSQL 16 sidecar. The nocobase_db volume holds the application data, and nocobase_storage holds uploads, plugins, logs and the token signing key. You choose the administrator email, xCloud generates the password, and HTTPS runs on your domain.
Self-hosting a no-code platform normally means a database, generated secrets and a domain before you can build your first collection. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account, pick NocoBase from the OneClick catalog, choose a domain, and enter the Administrator Email and a password (12-64 characters), or leave the password empty to generate one.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned NocoBase 2.2.21 image with a digest-pinned PostgreSQL 16 backend, install the database on first boot, and publish the UI and API over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Save the administrator password from the protected installation credentials, open the HTTPS NocoBase URL, sign in with your email and password, and open Settings → Authentication to turn off "Allow to sign up" if you want a closed instance.
NocoBase runs in full here — its visual data-model, page and workflow builder, on infrastructure you control.
Configure data models, pages, workflows and permissions visually, no custom code required.
Suited to internal tools, business systems and data-driven workflows on your own database.
Switch between usage mode and configuration mode with one click, an upstream NocoBase feature.
A PostgreSQL 16 sidecar prepared with logical WAL, matching the upstream compose setup.
Choose or generate the admin email and password at install time — unauthenticated API access returns 401.
QA verified sign-in and data were intact after restarting both the app and database containers.
Managed hosting for NocoBase, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Let an operations team model its records once and build pages and forms on top, so work that lived in shared spreadsheets runs in an app with roles and an audit trail.
Create the data models, pages and workflows your business needs visually, on your own PostgreSQL database, instead of bending a hosted product to fit a process it was not built for.
Give each role its own permissions, down to field-level read and write, and use audit logs to trace data changes and workflow triggers when a manager asks who edited a record.
Draw on the main database, external databases or third-party APIs as data sources, and extend the platform with plugins when a team needs a feature the core does not include.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

The template floor is 10 GB of disk, 2048 MB of RAM and 2 CPU cores; upstream recommends 4 GB for the app, and the PostgreSQL database needs memory on top. The 6 GB plan clears that combined need with headroom.
Yes, and this template is nocobase docker hosting without the setup: the slim NocoBase image pinned by digest, a private PostgreSQL 16 container, the nocobase_storage and nocobase_db volumes, generated database credentials and HTTPS on your own domain.
Upstream says business data can come from the main database, external databases and third-party APIs. On this install the main database is the private PostgreSQL 16 container, and outgoing mail is set up inside the app, not through install fields.
The software has no licence fee, but it is not plain Apache-2.0: the NocoBase License Agreement adds supplementary terms, including branding and no-code-SaaS restrictions. Review it for your use. You pay xCloud for the Cloud VPS, so it is a NocoBase cloud of your own.
By default, yes: self sign-up is on, and new accounts get the low-privilege member role. To close the instance, turn off Allow to sign up under Settings and Authentication after your first login as administrator.
Back up both volumes together: nocobase_db holds all application data, and nocobase_storage holds uploads, installed plugins, logs and the token signing key. Keep an off-server copy and test a restore.
The install stays on its pinned 2.2.21 image until you adopt a newer template version. A newer image migrates the database schema on its next boot, so back up nocobase_db and nocobase_storage first. Nothing upgrades automatically.
Yes, inside the app from your profile. The INIT_ROOT values only apply to the first install, so editing them in the environment later does not rotate the account. Also keep ENCRYPTION_FIELD_KEY unchanged once encrypted fields hold data.
For building internal tools and business apps, it can be. NocoBase keeps data in your own database with no platform lock-in, per upstream, and builds pages and workflows visually. It is a platform you run yourself, so you manage access and backups.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
