NSQ hosting on xCloud lets you deploy NSQ, a realtime message queue, without wiring the broker, the lookup service and the dashboard together yourself. xCloud runs the pinned NSQ 1.3.0 image as nsqd, nsqlookupd and nsqadmin, generates the dashboard password and the client auth secret, puts the dashboard behind Basic Auth on your HTTPS domain, and publishes the nsqd client port for your producers and consumers.
NSQ is a realtime distributed message queue. Upstream describes it as built to operate at scale, with a decentralised design that avoids single points of failure, and it ships official Go and Python client libraries. Producers publish to topics, topics fan out to channels and consumers pull from channels with at-least-once delivery. Run it yourself and you have a self-hosted NSQ, a queue you operate instead of renting one from a hosted service such as Amazon SQS, licensed under MIT.
On xCloud the template deploys NSQ 1.3.0 as nsqd, nsqlookupd and nsqadmin from one digest-pinned image, with an nginx gateway adding Basic Auth to the dashboard. The nsqd_data volume keeps topic metadata and disk-backed queue files. The nsqd client port is plain TCP and needs the generated auth secret; there is no TLS on it.
Self-hosting a message queue normally means wiring up a broker, a lookup service, an admin dashboard, a domain and a certificate before a single message moves. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account, pick NSQ from the OneClick catalog, and choose a domain for the admin dashboard.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the pinned NSQ 1.3.0 image as nsqd, nsqlookupd and nsqadmin, generate the dashboard password and client auth secret, and publish the dashboard over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open the HTTPS dashboard URL and sign in as nsq; the nsqd node appears within about 30 seconds. Point producers and consumers at the nsqd host and TCP port, authenticating with the auth secret via a client library.
NSQ runs in full here — the same realtime message-queue tooling as any hosted broker, on infrastructure you control.
Producers publish to topics and consumers pull from channels, with at-least-once delivery guarantees.
A web dashboard lists every node, topic and channel running on your queue.
Messages beyond the in-memory queue spill to disk automatically, so bursts don't get dropped.
The dashboard sits behind Basic Auth with a generated password, and the client port requires an auth secret so anonymous clients can't publish or subscribe.
Topics, channels and spilled messages survive an xCloud Restart, verified on QA.
Upstream treats message bodies as opaque bytes, so JSON, MsgPack or Protocol Buffers all work, up to the configurable per-message size limit.
Managed hosting for NSQ, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
A backend developer publishes work to a topic and lets worker processes pull it from a channel, so the web request returns without waiting on the job.
Publish once to a topic and give billing, search indexing and notifications each their own channel, so every service receives the full stream at its own pace.
When consumers fall behind, messages beyond the in-memory queue spill to the nsqd_data volume, so a spike waits on disk instead of being lost.
A small team can open the nsqadmin dashboard to see nodes, topics and channels, and spot a backlog without shelling into the server.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. NSQ is MIT licensed, so running nsqd, nsqlookupd and nsqadmin costs no licence fee, and nothing is charged per message or per topic. The bill is the Cloud VPS itself, which you can resize if your message volume grows.
They send the generated auth secret in the AUTH command, using a client library such as go-nsq (AuthSecret) or pynsq (auth_secret). Every client that holds the secret may use every topic and channel, and a client with no valid secret is refused.
No, not against the authenticated client port. The stock nsq_tail and nsq_to_* tools cannot send an auth secret, so use a client library with AUTH support instead. Point it at the nsqd host and TCP port from your credentials.
No. The nsqd client port is plain TCP with no TLS, so payloads and the auth secret travel unencrypted. Keep secrets out of message bodies, and open that port in your own firewall only for the addresses that need it.
Yes, and this template is NSQ Docker hosting without the assembly: one nsqio/nsq v1.3.0 image pinned by digest runs nsqd, nsqlookupd and nsqadmin, with an nginx Basic Auth gateway in front of the dashboard and HTTPS on your domain.
Upstream describes NSQ as a decentralised queue configured entirely through command-line flags, with compiled binaries that need no external runtime. RabbitMQ is a separate broker with its own OneClick page here; compare their delivery features against your needs before choosing.
Upstream provides official Go and Python libraries, and the README points to many third-party client libraries and a published protocol spec. Clients need AUTH support to reach this install, as go-nsq's AuthSecret and pynsq's auth_secret provide.
The manifest floor is tiny at 128 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 2 GB of disk, because NSQ is a small Go program. We start you on the 6 GB tier so a deeper in-memory queue and bursts spilling to disk have room; a bigger NSQD_MEM_QUEUE_SIZE is what raises memory use.
Back up the nsqd_data volume, which holds nsqd.dat topic and channel metadata plus disk-backed queue files, and keep your .env values. nsqlookupd and nsqadmin keep no state on disk. Nothing schedules the copy, so run it yourself.
You stay on NSQ 1.3.0 until you adopt a newer template version. Before that, back up nsqd_data and read the upstream release notes. Redeploying keeps the volume, so queued messages that spilled to disk are still there. A catalog re-sync only touches new installs.
This page is your own NSQ cloud on a dedicated server: you get the dashboard login, the nsqd address and the auth secret, and you own the queue and its data. It is a standalone instance, not a shared multi-tenant service.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
