Deploy OctoPrint hosting and run your 3D-printing control panel on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned OctoPrint 1.11.8 image as one container, creates the administrator with a generated 24-character password, keeps configuration, uploads and plugins on a persistent volume and publishes it over HTTPS in minutes — a cloud server has no USB ports, so you reach your printer over the network.
OctoPrint is a web interface for consumer 3D printers; upstream calls it a snappy one. You upload G-code, start and monitor prints and record timelapses from a browser, and extend it with plugins from the official plugin repository. A self-hosted OctoPrint is the alternative to a printer manufacturer's own app, and upstream's usual route to it is OctoPi, an SD card image for a Raspberry Pi. It is free software under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.
On xCloud the template runs OctoPrint 1.11.8 from the official image, pinned by digest, as one container with every setting, user, upload, log, timelapse and plugin on the octoprint_data volume. The administrator is created for you with a generated password, and the open first-run setup is never exposed. A cloud server has no USB ports, so the printer is reached over the network and the webcam streamer is off.
An OctoPrint install normally means a container, a data volume, a first-run setup that must not sit open on the internet, a raised upload limit, a domain and a certificate. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick OctoPrint from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server and set the Administrator Username (default admin).
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official OctoPrint image, pinned by immutable digest, as a single container with no other services, create the administrator with a generated 24-character password, mount the octoprint_data volume, and publish it over HTTPS with a 1 GiB upload limit for G-code files.
Step 03
Save the generated password from the protected installation credentials, open your HTTPS URL (ready within about a minute) and sign in. Complete OctoPrint's short setup wizard, then add a network serial address under Settings, Serial Connection, or install a plugin to reach your printer.
OctoPrint runs in full here: the printer control panel in your browser, with your files, users and plugins on a persistent volume.
Upload G-code files up to 1 GiB, then start, pause and monitor prints from a browser.
Use a network serial address (socket:// or rfc2217://), for example from ser2net, or a network-capable plugin.
Record and manage print timelapses from a network camera's snapshot URL set in OctoPrint's webcam settings.
Extend OctoPrint from the official plugin repository; plugin installs need outbound internet access from the server.
The administrator is created for you and the open first-run setup is never exposed; anonymous API access is rejected.
Websocket live updates work through the xCloud HTTPS proxy, and configuration, users, uploads and plugins survive an xCloud Restart.
Managed hosting for OctoPrint, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Upload G-code and start, pause and monitor prints from any browser, once the printer is reachable over the network.
Point Settings, Serial Connection at a socket:// or rfc2217:// address, for example served by ser2net.
Point the webcam snapshot URL at a network camera, then record timelapses and keep them on the persistent volume.
Install plugins from the official plugin repository for network-reachable printers and extra features.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. OctoPrint is AGPL-3.0 free software, so there is no licence fee for the interface, its plugin repository or timelapses. What you pay xCloud is the Cloud VPS that holds the container and octoprint_data; a printer's own hardware costs are yours.
QA measured about 104 MiB idle for this Python app; the manifest floor is 512 MB RAM, one core and 4 GB disk. The disk figure grows with G-code uploads and timelapse videos. We sell the 6 GB tier so plugins and large files have room.
Yes, and this template is OctoPrint Docker hosting without the setup: the official octoprint/octoprint 1.11.8 image pinned by digest as one container, an administrator created for you, the octoprint_data volume mounted and HTTPS on your own domain.
No. A cloud server has no USB ports, so the usual serial passthrough is not configured. Add a network serial address (socket:// or rfc2217://, for example from ser2net) under Settings, Serial Connection, or install a plugin that reaches the printer over the network.
The administrator is created for you and the open first-run step is never exposed; anonymous API access is rejected. Anyone who can sign in can start prints, install plugins that run code in the container and run system commands, so keep the credentials private.
Mainsail has no OneClick page here; it and Fluidd are web interfaces built around the Klipper firmware, so they suit printers running Klipper. OctoPrint is not tied to one firmware. Check which interface your printer's firmware supports before choosing.
No. The bundled mjpg-streamer webcam server is switched off because it needs a camera device, which a cloud server does not have. Live job updates still work. Timelapses need a camera too, so set a network camera's snapshot URL in the webcam settings.
Back up the whole octoprint_data volume, which holds configuration, users, uploads, logs, timelapses and installed plugins. Nothing schedules the copy, so run it yourself, keep the volume together and test a restore on a spare install.
Your install stays on OctoPrint 1.11.8 until you adopt a newer template version. Copy octoprint_data first, since it holds your users, uploads and plugins, and read upstream's release notes. Nothing upgrades OctoPrint in the background, and installed plugins stay on the volume.
Sign in with the username you chose at install and the generated password in the installation credentials, then change the password inside OctoPrint. Those two values are read only when the account is created, so editing them in the environment later changes nothing.
This page is your own OctoPrint cloud: a dedicated Cloud VPS running the open-source app, with uploads of up to 1 GiB and your timelapses on a volume you control. It is a private instance, not a shared service.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
