qui Hosting Live In 5 Minutes

Deploy qui hosting and manage all your qBittorrent instances from one fast web interface on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned qui v1.30.0 container, publishes it over HTTPS and keeps its SQLite database, configuration and session secret on a persistent volume — so your account, instance connections and API keys survive a restart.

What is qui?

qui is an open-source, GPL-2.0-or-later web interface for qBittorrent. It is a single lightweight binary that manages several qBittorrent instances from one place, with automations, cross-seed, backups and restore built in.

qui does not download anything itself: it connects to the qBittorrent instances you already run, by their Web UI address and credentials. On xCloud it runs as one container behind HTTPS, with its SQLite database and configuration on a persistent volume.

From Sign-Up to Your First Instance In Just 3 Easy Steps

A qui setup normally means a container, a config volume, a reverse proxy, a domain and a certificate before you can add your first qBittorrent instance. This is the same result without assembling any of it.

  1. Step 01

Create your xCloud account, pick qui from the OneClick catalog and choose your domain and target server. There are no extra install fields to fill in.

  2. Step 02

    We Deploy It For You

One click. We bring up the official qui container, pinned by immutable digest, with no database service to run alongside it, mount the qui_config volume at /config for the SQLite database, config.toml, session secret and logs, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.

  3. Step 03

    Create Your Account

Open your HTTPS qui URL straight away and create your username and password on the setup page — until an account exists, the first visitor can create it. Then add your first qBittorrent instance by its Web UI address and credentials.

Everything qui Does, On Your Own Server

qui runs in full here: one web interface in front of the qBittorrent instances you already run, with its own configuration on a volume you own.

  • Many Instances, One Dashboard

Add several qBittorrent instances and manage them all from a single application instead of opening a separate Web UI for each client.

  • Rule-Based Automations

Build automations from conditions and actions to manage torrents by rule rather than by hand.

  • Cross-Seed

Find and add matching torrents across trackers from inside qui.

  • Scheduled Backups And Restore

qui takes scheduled snapshots of your qBittorrent setup and offers several restore modes, kept on the same persistent volume.

  • Transparent qBittorrent Proxy

The reverse proxy lets external apps talk to a qBittorrent instance through qui.

  • 11 Languages

The interface is available in 11 languages, including German, French, Italian, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese, with automatic browser-language detection.

Everything You Need To Run Your qBittorrent Dashboard 24/7

Managed hosting for qui, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.

  • qui v1.30.0 deployed instantly
  • Official image pinned by digest
  • Configuration on a persistent volume
  • Kept behind xCloud nginx
  • Free SSL certificate
  • Server backups and snapshots
  • Server security updates included
  • 30+ server locations
  • Unused balance refunded

What You Can Do With qui

  • Run several clients from one screen

Keep every qBittorrent instance in one dashboard instead of juggling a separate Web UI address and login for each.

  • Automate torrent housekeeping

Write rules with conditions and actions so routine management happens by rule instead of by hand.

  • Cross-seed across trackers

Find and add matching torrents across trackers without leaving the interface you already use to manage the rest.

  • Protect your client settings

Take scheduled snapshots and restore them in whichever mode fits, with qui's backups kept on the same persistent volume.

Hear what people are saying about us

See why agencies, developers, startups, and growing businesses choose xCloud to power their projects.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian Geovanny
I've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.

I'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting

xCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.

xCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.

Trust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍

So far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.

Came from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson El
I've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony Lewis
I came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowell
I like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose

Dear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Does qui download torrents itself?

No. qui manages qBittorrent instances you run elsewhere; you connect each one by its Web UI address and credentials. The qBittorrent Web UI must be reachable from the server qui runs on.

How do I sign in the first time?

Open your site URL right after install and create the username and password on qui's setup page. There is no default login and no credential is generated for you.

Why should I create the account straight away?

Until an account exists, the first visitor to the site becomes the only user. Once an account exists, a second setup attempt is rejected and unauthenticated API calls are refused. qui has exactly one user.

What runs alongside qui?

Nothing. qui is a single container with its own SQLite database, so there is no separate database service to run or secure.

What should I back up?

The qui_config volume, which holds the SQLite database, config.toml, the generated session secret, logs and qui's own backup snapshots. Restore it as a whole so settings stay consistent.

Can I replace the session secret?

Do not replace it after first start: saved qBittorrent credentials are encrypted with it, and you would have to enter them again.

Can qui read my torrent data paths for cross-seed or orphan scans?

Cross-seed and orphan-scan workflows that read torrent data paths need those host paths added to the container first; they are not mounted by default.

Is there an upload size limit?

Torrent uploads through qui are capped at 256 MiB by the app, and the web server may apply a lower request-size limit.

Can I restrict qui to my domain?

Optionally. qui's allowedHosts setting is not configured by default. The app is only reachable through the xCloud proxy, but you can restrict it to your domain.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update qui?

No. The template pins qui v1.30.0 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release and existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.

What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?

The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 2 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 23 MiB. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, which leaves generous headroom above that baseline.

Is xCloud officially partnered with qui?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the qui project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source qui project.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
