Deploy Steedos hosting and start modelling your own business objects on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned Steedos 3.0.14 stack — the app, a MongoDB replica set with authentication, Redis and NATS — generates the database credentials and secrets, mounts persistent volumes and publishes the web interface over HTTPS, so the first account you register is ready to build with.
Steedos is an open-source, metadata-driven low-code platform for building business applications and workflows. You define objects, fields, permissions and automation as metadata, and Steedos generates REST and GraphQL APIs for each model, so apps stay structured and extendable rather than being one-off forms.
On xCloud it runs as the official community image with a MongoDB replica set, Redis and NATS behind HTTPS. Only the web interface is published; the other services are reachable only on the private container network.
A Steedos stack normally means four containers, a MongoDB replica set, generated secrets, volumes, a domain and a certificate before the first record. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Steedos from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the official Steedos image, pinned by immutable digest, with MongoDB 4.4 as a single-node replica set, Redis 6.0 and NATS 2.9 kept on the private container network, mount the steedos_storage and steedos_mongodb volumes, generate the MongoDB credentials and secrets, and publish the web interface over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Open your HTTPS Steedos URL and register — there is no preset admin password, and the first account becomes the space owner and administrator. Create your first object or record, for example a Task, and invite your team.
Steedos runs in full here: a low-code platform for business applications, backed by a MongoDB database you own.
Model business data as objects and fields; Steedos is metadata-driven, so structure, permissions and automation live in configuration.
Steedos exposes REST and GraphQL APIs for every model you define, so other systems can read and write the same records.
Automate business processes with flows and triggers defined in configuration or TypeScript.
Role-based access control reaches down to the field level for your internal teams.
Records live in your own MongoDB on the steedos_mongodb volume, and a created record survived a full four-container restart in QA.
The workspace ships with Task, Event and Announcement apps plus Users, Organizations and Objects for setup, so there is something to use on day one.
Managed hosting for Steedos, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Stand up project, task and record-tracking apps by defining objects and fields instead of writing an application from scratch.
Run approvals and routine steps with flows and triggers defined in configuration or TypeScript.
Apply role-based access control down to individual fields, so people see only the data their role allows.
Hold the records behind your processes in a MongoDB you run, and read or write them through the generated REST and GraphQL APIs.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Steedos is metadata-driven: objects, fields, permissions and automation are defined as metadata, and APIs are generated for each model, so apps stay structured and extendable.
There is no preset admin password. Open your Steedos URL and register — the first account becomes the space owner and administrator, and later sign-ups do not get admin rights. Do this straight after install.
Open registration stays on by design because Steedos is multi-tenant, but only the first account receives admin rights. Review the signup settings for your use case.
MongoDB 4.4 as a single-node replica set with authentication and a keyfile, Redis 6.0 and NATS 2.9, all private to the installation. Only the Steedos web interface is exposed, over HTTPS.
The steedos_storage volume (configuration, uploads, generated secrets and package cache) and the steedos_mongodb volume (your records). Back them up and restore them together, and keep the generated MongoDB credentials, encryption password and salt with the backup — changing them later can make existing configuration or encrypted data unavailable.
Records and application files. In QA a created record survived a full restart of all four containers, because both steedos_storage and steedos_mongodb are persistent named volumes. Redis runs without persistence and is cache only.
Two upstream behaviours to know about: the Steedos boot log prints the supervisor password in plain text (readable only by root on the server), and one non-fatal "Error connecting to Tables MongoDB" line from the optional tables module can appear at boot. Standard objects are unaffected.
No. The template pins Steedos 3.0.14 by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release and existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Read the upstream release notes, back up both volumes, then bump the readable tag and the digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.
The template asks for 2 CPU cores, 4096 MB of RAM and 20 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was roughly 0.55 to 0.75 GB. Because the declared minimum is 4 GB, this page sells the 16 GB tier as the entry rung rather than a box with little headroom.
AGPL-3.0, per the LICENSE.txt at the v3.0.14 tag. The upstream README badge says MIT, but the licence file governs.
No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Steedos project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Steedos project.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No credit card required, and no plan you have to grow into.
