How do I sign in?

Use the username admin and the password shown in the protected installation credentials. Allow one to two minutes on first start; a 502 error until then is normal.

Can other people register?

No. Open registration is off. Create accounts under Preferences > Users and only those accounts can sign in.

What runs alongside Tiny Tiny RSS?

A PostgreSQL 15 database, the PHP-FPM application container and a background feed updater, all private with no published host ports. Only the web server is published, through xCloud-managed HTTPS.

When do new articles appear?

The updater container fetches feeds in the background and waits about 30 seconds after each start before its first run. In QA a new feed's articles arrived within a minute.

Can I import my feeds from another reader?

Yes, by importing an OPML file. Uploads are limited to 1 MB by the web server in front of the app.

Does it send e-mail digests or password-reset mail?

No. E-mail delivery is not configured in this template, so digests and password-reset mail are not sent.

How do I change the admin password?

Change it in the site's environment settings and redeploy. The admin password is re-applied on every start, so a password changed inside Tiny Tiny RSS reverts the next time the app restarts.

What should I back up?

Both volumes together: ttrss_db (feeds, articles and users — use pg_dump for the database) and ttrss_app (plugins, themes and cache).

Feeds, articles, users and installed plugins and themes, because they sit on the ttrss_db and ttrss_app named volumes; they survived an xCloud Restart in QA.

Does xCloud automatically back up or update Tiny Tiny RSS?

No. The template pins the Tiny Tiny RSS images by immutable digest; new installations use the pinned release, existing sites are not automatically upgraded. Back up the database first, read the upstream release notes, then bump the readable tag and digest together on your own schedule. Server-level backups and snapshots are available on every Cloud VPS.

What are the server requirements, and why does this page sell 6 GB?

The template's baseline asks for 1 CPU core, 512 MB of RAM and 5 GB of disk; measured idle use in QA was about 87 MiB. This page sells the 6 GB tier as the entry rung, with real headroom above that baseline.

Is xCloud officially partnered with Tiny Tiny RSS?

No. No official partnership or endorsement between xCloud and the Tiny Tiny RSS project has been verified. This is a deployment and server-management option for the open-source Tiny Tiny RSS project.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
