Deploy Harness hosting and keep your Git repositories, pull requests and container images on your own domain. xCloud runs the pinned Harness Open Source 3.3.0 image with an embedded SQLite database, generates the admin password and encryption secret and publishes it over HTTPS in minutes. Pipelines and Gitspaces are not part of this template, and Git over SSH uses a port you open yourself.
Harness Open Source, the code base formerly known as Gitness, is a self-hosted code hosting platform. It provides Git repositories, pull requests and code review, plus an artifact registry for container images and packages. Run on your own server it is a self-hosted Harness, an alternative to a hosted code host such as GitHub or Bitbucket, with the code under the Apache-2.0 licence and your repositories on your own disk.
On xCloud it is the upstream harness/harness 3.3.0 image, pinned by digest, as one container with an embedded SQLite database. The harness_data volume holds the database, repositories, registry blobs and the SSH host key. Upstream also offers pipelines and Gitspaces, but they need the host Docker socket, which this template does not mount, so they are not available here.
A Harness install normally means the container, a data volume, generated secrets, an SSH port, a domain and a certificate before the first push. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Harness from the OneClick catalog. Choose a domain and server and enter the email address for the built-in admin account.
Step 02
One click. We start harness/harness 3.3.0, pinned by digest, generate the admin password and encryption secret, mount harness_data, publish the web port over HTTPS and publish a raw TCP port for Git over SSH. Allow a minute or two.
Step 03
Sign in as admin, create a space and a repository, add teammates from the Users page, and clone over HTTPS with a personal access token as the password. Open the SSH port in your firewall if you want SSH clones.
Harness Open Source 3.3.0 runs here as a code host and artifact registry, on a volume you own.
Host Git repositories with pull requests and code review, and mark repositories public or private.
Push container images and packages to a registry served from the same site.
Clone over HTTPS with a personal access token, or over SSH on a published TCP port of your server's address.
The image carries an embedded SQLite database, so there is no separate database container. Everything sits on harness_data.
Public sign-up is off. The admin adds teammates from the Users page, and private repositories need an account.
They need access to the host's Docker socket, which this template does not mount. Code hosting and the registry work.
Managed hosting for Harness, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Keep source code on a server you control instead of a hosted code platform.
Open pull requests and review changes within your own team's instance.
Push and pull container images and packages from the same site as your code.
Move repositories to your own domain and keep the access list in your hands.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Gary MoodyxCloud gave me what no other hosting platform could: the flexibility of a VPS with the convenience of managed WordPress. As a solo founder running an entire business on one server, that combination is an important unfair advantage.
Jorge de los Reyes MartínezI use Server Avatar and xCloud and I'll sooner use xCloud than Server Avatar personally.

Yes, and this template is Harness Docker hosting without the setup: the upstream harness/harness 3.3.0 image pinned by digest, one container with an embedded SQLite database, a persistent data volume and HTTPS on your own domain.
The template minimum is 256 MB of RAM, 1 CPU core and 5 GB of disk. Repositories and registry blobs grow the disk use over time. The 6 GB tier is where this page begins, so repository growth has room.
No, not in this template. Pipelines and Gitspaces need access to the host Docker socket, which is not mounted, so they are off. Code hosting, pull requests, webhooks and the artifact registry work normally, so use another tool for CI.
Run git clone against your domain's git path for the space and repository. The password is a personal access token, created under your user profile, then Tokens. The admin account password is refused for git operations.
SSH is published on a raw TCP host port of your server's IP address, shown in the credentials, and is not tied to the domain. Allow that port in your own firewall to use it. HTTPS needs no extra port.
No. Public sign-up is off by default, and you add teammates from the Users page as admin. Repositories marked public are readable by anyone without signing in, while private ones need an account. Visitors can register only if you switch that setting on yourself.
Yes. Harness Open Source is licensed under Apache-2.0, so the software has no fee. The bill is the dedicated Cloud VPS storing your repositories and registry images. That makes it a Harness cloud of your own.
Back up the harness_data volume, which holds the database, every repository, registry blobs, attachments and the SSH host key. Keep the encryption secret from the credentials with the copy. Nothing schedules this for you, so run it yourself.
The install stays on its pinned 3.3.0 image until you adopt a newer template version. Back up harness_data and keep the encryption secret first, then read the upstream release notes. Existing sites are never upgraded automatically.
The site proxy refuses any path segment that starts with a dot, so files whose names begin with .git cannot be opened in the repository file browser. It is cosmetic: clone, pull and push are unaffected.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
