How do I change the admin secret?

Update HASURA_GRAPHQL_ADMIN_SECRET in the Environment editor and restart the application. Existing data is unaffected, but every client using the old secret must be updated. If you ever rebuild from a backup, restore the database before starting Hasura and reuse the same admin secret.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
