Karaoke Eternal hosting on xCloud gives you a self-hosted karaoke party system where guests join from their phones, search your library and queue songs for a shared browser player. Deploy Karaoke Eternal from the OneClick catalog and xCloud starts the pinned 2.0.2 image as one container with built-in SQLite storage, generates the administrator password and mounts volumes for settings and karaoke files. You copy your own files in, since there is no browser upload.
Karaoke Eternal lets you host karaoke parties where everyone can find and queue songs from their phone's browser, according to its README. The player is also browser-based and supports MP3+G, MP4 videos and music-synced visualizations. Guests join with QR codes or guest accounts, there can be several rooms and queues, dynamic queues keep parties fair, and it is fully self-hosted with no ads or telemetry. Microphones are not required. Self-hosted Karaoke Eternal is a karaoke server you run yourself. It is licensed under ISC.
The xCloud template runs Karaoke Eternal 2.0.2, pinned by digest, as one container with a built-in SQLite database. Settings and users sit on karaoke_config and your karaoke files on karaoke_media, mounted at /mnt/karaoke. There is no upload in the browser, so you copy files into that volume and scan them. Only use karaoke files you are entitled to.
A karaoke server normally means a Node.js runtime, a database file, a first administrator, a domain and a certificate before the first song is queued. This is the same result without assembling any of it.
Step 01
Create your xCloud account and pick Karaoke Eternal from the OneClick catalog. Choose your domain and target server — there are no extra fields to fill in.
Step 02
One click. We bring up the community-built Karaoke Eternal image, pinned by immutable digest, as a single container with its built-in SQLite database, mount the karaoke_config and karaoke_media volumes, generate the administrator password, and publish it over HTTPS on your domain.
Step 03
Sign in as admin with the password from the installation credentials, then copy your karaoke files into the media volume, add the media folder under Preferences and start a scan. Open the player on your TV and let guests join from their phones.
Karaoke Eternal runs in full here: the phone web app, the shared player and your media library, on your own domain.
Guests open the site in a phone browser, search the library and add songs to the queue, with nothing to install.
The player is just another part of the web app, meant to run fullscreen in a browser on the TV or projector handling audio and video for a room.
Plays MP3+G (MP3 with CDG lyrics, including zipped) and MP4 videos from the media folders you add.
Run several rooms with their own queues, optionally password-protected, and choose whether each allows guests or new standard users.
The player can show a QR code that links directly to a room, so singers join in a few seconds.
A single container with built-in SQLite: no separate database to run, secure or back up.
Managed hosting for Karaoke Eternal, so the parts that keep it online are not your problem.
Guests open the site on their phones, pick songs from your library and add them to the queue while a TV shows the player.
Dynamic queues rotate singers so one person cannot hog the evening, and each room has its own queue.
You make a room password-protected and run separate rooms for different groups at the same time.
A host who owns a collection of karaoke files keeps them on a volume of a server they rent, rather than relying on online video karaoke.

xCloud works really well, I am surprised by its performance being this the release version, I have tried many paid platforms such as runcloud, cloudpages or serveravatar, as well as free platforms such as CyberPanel, CloudPanel or Hestia Control Panel and direct competitors such as SpinupWP and FlyWP. Of all those that I have tried, the platform that works best for WordPress is SpinupWP and I believe that xCloud can reach and surpass that development, its roadmap is promising. Congratulations to the xCloud team, I hope they become the leading platform in the segment, it has all the potential to achieve it!
Brian GeovannyI've been with runcloud for the last 3 years. However, after trying xcloud for the last month, I'm switching over. They are on a roll with their setup.
Kevin PinedaI'm moving my servers to xCloud, a cloud control panel by M Asif Rahman and the WPDeveloper team. Their roadmap looks interesting and no, there are no team mates nor API limits with xCloud! #xCloud #wordpress #hosting
Leo KooHow Cloud Nine Web Elevated Client Experience While Streamlining Hosting Operations using xCloud
Ed EllinghamxCloud is like having an expert server team on call — without the big agency costs. It's given me back my time and given my clients peace of mind. Highly recommended for freelancers and small teams who want reliable performance and security.
Dumitru ButucelxCloud isn't just a solution. It's like one of that friend who got your back when you screw things up pretty bad.
Waqar AhmedTrust me when I say, once people explore the potential of xCloud they gonna switch from other panels, just keep delivering the best tech, lots of love for the team 😍😍
Rahul SinghSo far my experience has been smooth like silk. I didn't imagine that configuring and managing a VPS would be so easy. As of today, I have deployed 8 sites. The support is good, and they treat users with respect, even if they ask stupid questions (myself included). For the future, I hope for greater flexibility in scheduled backups and more comprehensive and consistent documentation. I'm sure that within a few months, xCloud will become the leader in its segment. This community is amazing, and the Staff here is super helpful.
Massimo VillaCame from cloudways then to runcloud then to xcloud. Looks like I'm staying here.
Gerson ElI've recently taken all of my Vultr-hosted sites and gotten rid of cPanel for them to substitute it with xCloud. I have to say, I'm really impressed with xCloud so far! The interface is definitely the standout feature for me.
Tony LewisI came from Cloudways and won't go back. Highly impressed with xCloud. Glad I gave them a chance.
Jared McDowellI like xCloud better than RunCloud, but one thing I'll point out is that some years ago RunCloud was hungry for business, the support was outstanding, and the community was active and helped each other. Maybe it was sold, there was a change in management, or they stopped being hungry, but the quality of the RunCloud offering declined and it hasn't been moving forward quickly. My point is that currently the xCloud team has the edge and it is theirs to keep or lose
David McCanHow Kevin Heinrichs Cut Hosting Costs by 84% While Running WooCommerce & Node.js Sites Efficiently
Kevin HeinrichsI had 150 sites on cloudways and am in the process of moving them to xcloud. Much faster and better priced.
Dan SpinozaDear xCloud Team, I have been using xCloud for some time now and am genuinely impressed with its capabilities and the flexibility it offers by allowing users to bring their own VPS for management. It's a fantastic service, and my experience so far has been very positive. Successful migrated 5 sites on a single server. Xcloud migration tool worked great. There were few hiccups with security plugin like MalCare but disabling the plugin prior to migration worked just fine.
Rahil MaknojiaCame from runcloud. Tried xcloud and never came back.

Yes. Karaoke Eternal is open source under the ISC licence, with the licence file for the pinned v2.0.2 tag linked above. xCloud bills for the Cloud VPS under it, not for Karaoke Eternal, and there is no per-singer fee. You supply your own karaoke files.
Yes, and this Karaoke Eternal Docker hosting template does it for you: the radrootllc/karaoke-eternal image, pinned by digest, runs as one container with SQLite on your own server, with HTTPS in front of port 8080. It is not a Karaoke Eternal cloud account, so your library stays with you.
Karaoke Eternal asks for no less than 256 MB of RAM, because it is one Node.js server with a built-in database. Your karaoke files need their own disk space. This page's 6 GB tier covers that with lots of margin.
They open your site on their phones, join a room as a guest or with an account, search the library and queue songs. Upstream lists easy joining with QR codes and guest accounts. Whether guests may join depends on each room's settings, which the administrator controls under Preferences.
MP3 with CDG lyrics as pairs, zipped pairs, and MP4 videos, plus music-synced visualizations. A shared player page plays the queue in a browser on a TV or projector. Microphones are not required, since the player only outputs the music.
There is no browser upload. Copy your files into the karaoke_media volume, mounted at /mnt/karaoke, for example with docker cp as a sudo user. Then sign in as admin, open Preferences, Media Folders, add /mnt/karaoke and start a scan. Only add files you are entitled to use.
Sign in as admin with the generated password from the credentials card. The administrator is created automatically on the first start, so there is no open setup form for visitors. Change the password in the app under Account, and use Preferences to set who may sign up.
Anyone who knows the URL can reach the sign-in page and the public room list, and can join a room as a guest depending on that room's settings. For a fully private site, add Basic Authentication at your access layer, which this template does not enable.
Back up karaoke_config, which holds users, rooms, preferences, the signing key and media-folder settings, and karaoke_media, which holds your files. Stop the container before copying karaoke_config for a consistent snapshot. The library index can be rebuilt by rescanning.
The pinned 2.0.2 image on your running install is untouched by catalog updates; you opt in to a newer template version. Back up both volumes first and read the upstream release notes. Then sign in, rescan if needed and queue a test song.
Yes. There is no lock-in — cancel any time. Hosting is billed monthly and charged for what you actually use, so when you delete the server the unused balance is refunded to your account, less up to 10% in payment-processing fees.
Connect your first server in minutes. No plan you have to grow into.
